Was unsure about Elden Ring on S2. Now I have even less reasons to keep my PS5.

My soul still needs to recover from spending 80 bucks on a game I already have on PlayStation and PC but I gotta say, the Switch 2 is just pure magic. Was tempted to get ER on the Switch but watched countless videos and reviews on it and I just wasn’t sure. The frames, the textures, the graphics.. turns out, none of that matters. The game plays perfectly fine. All the stuff that is lower than on PlayStation 5 or PC, you will not notice it unless you literally compare them side by side and have someone on the internet say “omg but there’s slightly less grass, unplayable trash port”. I can’t talk enough about how amazed I still am by the switch, from bringing back my love for video games to customizing my switch a little, trying out completely different genres.. it just STILL feels so exciting and it’s such a flex being able to play Elden Ring on the TV, in bed, outside, wherever you want, and then switching it up with some Mario kart or Animal Crossing when you get too frustrated. For the first time in my life I’m like “dang can yall slow it down with all these games coming out???” while my coworkers regret spending money on Wolverine or whatever.

So if anybody is reading this and you’re still not sure about Elden Ring on the switch performance wise, there’s nothing to worry about. I’m still blown away by the visuals or how high quality the armors and weapons look. I genuinely don’t notice the lower frames or if there are any slight dips or whatever. I like the fact that when you play online, you only play with people that are also on the switch. It’s so much more fun playing with the switch community compared to PlayStation people. Different topic but it changes so much for me. And I just can’t recommend it enough.

Main Console.

EDIT - I honestly don’t care about GTA 6. Really not a reason to keep my PS5.

No gym tonight. Couldn’t be happier. 🧘🏻‍♂️

Still not over my love for the switch 2 and how it genuinely saved video games for me. 31 years old and I feel like a kid again. Playing the switch in bed, hooked on Fire Emblem Three Houses right now, watching the latest Nontendo podcast on YouTube, making food.. I just couldn’t be happier with my switch. ❤️

YOU CAN HAVE A DOG IN THE GAME???

As much as I’ve seen of the game before I finally pulled the trigger and got a switch 2 and everything, I’ve never seen or heard anything about having pets??? Is that actually a thing in the game? And if yes, are there other animals you could have as pets?

Will I miss out on anything?

Hey so I’m brand new to the Switch 2 and New Horizons. Got both of them this last Friday so during the weekend I woke up and checked on my island first thing in the morning. Now during the week I don’t always have that much time in the morning but how much does that really matter?

What are some general events or villagers stopping by like that turnips lady on sundays that are only available during a specific time? Not looking to time travel or anything.

Got a S2 yesterday. Just woke up a minute ago and…

Brand new to the switch world. Knew ACNH was the “controversial” one. Wasn’t sure how I felt about the real time thing….

I just woke up 2 minutes ago and started my switch and I’m a 31 year old guy going all “🥰🥰🥰 oh dude there’s new stuff on my island today” 🙃

After months of debating…

Took me some time to discuss this with myself but today is Friday, I’ve been working a lot, Gym and my diet have been going well for a while, and I left work early today to finally pull the trigger on a “used” but essentially brand new Switch 2 to treat myself. The last Nintendo console I had was the GameCube as a kid and that brought me nothing but good memories. Really excited to add some more coziness to my life. 🫶🏼
