I don’t know who this Josh Young designer is, but I was very intrigued to see that the candle was from Mizensir!

I ordered this candle cloche from Magnolia on a whim and was delighted to find it was much larger than I thought.
I put the new signature size Front Porch candle from LAFCO (which smells incredible btw) in there and still have room to spare.
As soon as I unwrapped it, I knew that I needed to share it with my internet candle friends 🤩

Although it’s not a new release, I didn’t have one until a couple of months ago and now it’s one of my top 5 favorites of all time.
Safari is an underrated one from them that I got on super sale last year and really enjoy.
The Barbie one is smoky and sweet cold, quite intrigued by it and pleasantly surprised.
The tomato one is tomato-ing nicely. Not too sharp. I like it.
I might go back for more into the forest, who knows?
Moderation is obviously absent from this whole endeavor 😂
I went to France earlier this month and I’ve been trying to keep up the vibes of effortless elegance at home ever since.

Although I didn’t bring home any candles from any fancy houses (I was in Bordeaux and the neighboring countryside, not Paris) I did bring home these fun antique books from the brocante, and snagged a piece of driftwood from our trip to Cap Ferret.

A lot of the usuals, Diptyque, Le Labo, D.S. & Durga, etc. Also some other fun ones like Fischersund, Aman, and Liis (I think I’m finally going to get Bo!)
They also have some from a brand called 1986 that I hadn’t heard of before.
For some reason they don’t come up when you search “candle” but it was suggested to me when I was looking at other candles. Does anyone know anything about that brand?
