Rereading Only Pretend

I'm rereading Only Pretend and can't believe the amount of things I've missed. Attached are the yet unreleased scenes that are part of Episode 21, end of season 1. You can see Cerise in Montauk and arguing with Sawyer about her affair. She's wearing Haniel's necklace too. I can't believe I forgot about it.

And there was a post recently on here about Sawyer points and I remembered them being not that hard to get but in a near-perfect replay I only have 16/28 Sawyer points in ep 20. I didn't buy any bonus scenes. I didn't recall missing any blue relationship choices which makes me wonder if perhaps some butterfly choices give Sawyer points for the answer where you don't get 🦋. I know there are a couple but I thought I'd have a lot of Sawyer points regardless. Anyone noticed this? It's especially interesting to me because Sawyer's been recently favored with pro-Butterfly being also pro-him. I never thought I wouldn't be leading with his points all the while having 72/68 🦋 (got the +10 for free so that's 6 choices missed and they weren't connected to Sawyer). Funny thing is, I'm not even pro-Sawyer but I'm a completionist and perfectionist.

Any other things you noticed that are easily overlooked? I love the attention to detail in OP.

[TOMT] Music video with carrying a coffin

I'm trying to remember a (possibly but I'm not sure) 80s music video with male band members carrying a coffin through various landmarks/ countries. It kept cutting to them carrying the coffin in changing surroundings and I'm pretty sure they finally landed on the beach and threw the coffin into the water at the end. I've been trying to find it for an hour now and I feel like it's a pretty popular video, I've seen it a couple times on TV. I think one of the band members had shoulder-length hair.

Do you prefer perfect MC/ LI?

I was reading today and I realized that the story had an MC and LI who both pretty much nailed everything and were always respectful and good, and I was thinking that I've seen many posts from people here hating toxic LI's or weak awkward MC's but I feel like there might be another extreme. So my question is,

– do you want your MC to be a badass, very strong from the get-go, always stand up for herself and have good morals? Everything she does she succeeds at. With nothing really questionable or a noticeable flaw. Pretty much fits the good superhero archetype or maybe a little Disney princess-esque

– do you prefer your LI to be a yearner, would do anything for you and pretty much never gets angry at you or really messes up when it comes to your relationship? And he can do everything well – he is successful, rich, athletic, can cook etc.

Personally, I like some middle ground and I think it makes for a good story when people mess up sometimes and have flaws. But I've seen stories where the LI and MC pretty much stay perfect and their relationship is never a point of angst in the story, just other stuff happening to them, and the romance plot is pretty much just unaddressed feelings. There is also not that much character development since they begin the story with not much room for improvement.

I know Episode is also an escape for a lot of people and being a perfect character with a perfect attentive partner could be part of the charm too.
I am not a self-insert player so I don't mind my characters acting in ways that I wouldn't for the fun of it, but I realize that would probably also be an issue for people wanting to self-insert.

District Point System

I started reading the story District yesterday, I'm now at chapter 25 of 33. But I'm super confused a about the point system. I know a lot of people love this story so can someone enlighten me?

So at the beginning of the story I decided I'm leaning toward Sai. So I went with him to the hospital, I chose to train with him, kissed him, flirted with him to the point people at the bar knew we were close, I let him drink from my neck to get better. Then there was a gem option to sleep with him which I didn't pick. Another getting closer moment was a chance to have a poly hook-up, I went along with it, but yet another gem option prevented me from it. And then I wanted to spend the night with him and we're not close enough. And now I'm not getting any more options with him except for ones being locked because "we're not close". I had the option to define my relationship with Anna and Lowry, I didn't pursue them so there was a pay option, I get it. But there was no option to define anything with Sai unless choosing to opt out of polyamory was that pick. Now I'm ending up single with everything locked out. So could anyone point me to where I went wrong? I don't think it's pay to win with how many people are getting that relationship. (I noticed someone on Reddit also having an issue with the Sai path but it's supposed to be fixed now? It isn't for me)

Another thing is the witch or hunter points. I chose the necklace first, but didn't train with Anna but Sai liked I said. And now I feel like I'm getting locked out of the magic path because Anna said we can get the training later but there was no option offered to do it again in the story and I was locked out of using the defence spell once because I didn't learn it. So I hesitated choosing magic again after that since I really didn't learn anything. I'm confused why at the end of the story there's only 7 points for both hunter and witch, I didn't know there'd be so few. I'm flunking the Fame points too but it's whatever, I think you'd have guessed by now lol

So is it supposed to be like that and I made some wrong choice or is this story that dependent on gem choices? I'm really not sure. It's my first time in an Eposode story not getting the LI I wanted, point systems are usually straightforward with that.
