Looks promising - Mango Pachcha
I think very few debut actors look promising before the movie is out as a small snippet is enough to judge if they can act or not.
Looks like a good ensemble cast along with maestro Charan Raj heading the music.

I think it's definitely good for Kannada, Kannada music and movies too. Too late but better late than never. Ajaneesh has N number of superhit songs now in his kitty.
Just asked Chatgpt to list some hit songs and it's a pretty big list to be honest. Some notable ones:
Ulidavaru kandante
Kirik Party
Kantara
Vikrant Rona
Dia
Akira
Mangalavaram
nenjil mamazhai
Gentleman
ASN
Banaras

#Toxic to Release in Two Parts Amid Expanding Scale and Rising Budget. Filmmakers opt for a two-part structure following extensive footage, industry feedback, and strategic considerations.
Initially planned as a single standalone feature with an estimated runtime of around four hours, the film underwent significant changes during production. According to reports, the filmmakers captured nearly seven hours of footage, far exceeding the standard length for a theatrical release. Rather than condensing the material and compromising the narrative, the creators chose to divide the film into two installments, allowing for a more complete and coherent storytelling approach. The film’s budget has also been a key factor in shaping this decision. With production costs approaching 100 million dollars excluding P&A (Prints and Advertising) film represents a substantial financial investment. A two-part release strategy is expected to enhance revenue potential while reducing overall financial risk. In addition to internal considerations, the makers are said to have sought external input. Following a screening of the full footage, recommendations from a Hollywood distribution agency and film critics supported the idea of a two-part release, citing the film’s scale and narrative depth. The shift in format has also impacted the project’s timeline. The additional requirements for editing, post-production, and strategic planning have contributed to a delay in the film’s release. Overall, the decision to split film into two parts reflects a blend of creative intent and practical strategy, aiming to deliver a more expansive cinematic experience while aligning with commercial realities.

Rukmini Vasanth has a pretty stacked lineup right now, including the Jr NTR–Neel project and a few other big films. But interestingly, she mentioned that Toxic is the one she’s most excited about. That says something.
Hearing actors from the film talk about it, especially the scale, vision, and how fresh it is, it feels like there’s more to this project than what we’ve seen so far.
Also, let’s not forget the team behind it. Stellar crew, strong technical backing, and a massive budget. And of course, Yash has spent nearly 4 years on this which is a huge commitment and risk.
Feels like one of those films that might surprise everyone if it clicks.
