I just listened to HOT 2 THA TOUCH and Eyes. This is something I have never heard Yeat make.. this sound is something else. This could be perfect for the mafia theme. I just dont know why he even abandoned this sound and couple months later make songs like Taller or Naked

He was unique, he was himself, and that’s what they dont like. When he wasn’t mainstream he was hanging out with people that matched his vibe and knew his music was great and thats why he kept dropping bangers. When he started to get some fame and met Drake, that was the end of his career. BNYX and Bia pushing him to make stupid tracks, because everybody loves Drake and Yeat can be also like him? No of course he can’t. I imagine that when he went to those Drake parties, they made fun of him, saying his music was weird and shit. Yeat probably got insecure and wanted to change that, because maybe he wanted to feel like he was one of them.
Its honestly so sad to see how his music shifted in the past years, I litteraly grew up listening to Up2Më, 2Alivë, Lyfë everyday. The saddest part is that he will never ever release a great album again, not because he doesn’t want to, he can’t.
I still like some of his new tracks, but when I play his old stuff, that’s when I realize the tremendous difference. Its like listening to two different artists, damn i miss Yeat.
