Starting a business from scratch isn't for the weak!

Currently starting my company from scratch and no prior experience, when your planing it all looks easy but once you start doing allot of things come up that needs you to figure out and the issues sometimes are so hard to solve.

One of my machines needed a small part that I can't find in UAE, so I had to order it from china and it will take 2 weeks to arrive... this small part will basically put my whole business on pause hahah!

I'm hopping to get through the starting phase in 2 months because I feel the beginnings are the hardest when you're setting up everything.

Hot foil stamping machine for chrome tanned leather

I attached photos of the hot foil stamping machine and the results of stamping letters onto a chrome tanned leather, the hot foil is bleeding on the edges. How can I get perfect stamped letters? I tried temperatures from 90-170. What am I doing wrong?

Today's incident in Burjuman Mashreq CDM

So I recently moved to Dubai to start a company, I come from another GCC country and my background is privileged, we have a PRO who would do all the govt. related things and do cash deposits and all that stuff, since moving here I had to do all this on my own and its always chill to be honest, today I was waiting in line to make a deposit and a local lady came and asked the guy infront of me is she can go infront of him and he said no, mind you we all have been waiting in line for 40 minutes!!

She starts shouting at him and saying she's a local and she won't wait in line I got so shocked because I have never seen this behaviour before, then she asked a philipino lady behind me and she also said no because we have all been waiting in for so long then she starts telling the poor lady that she will fight her :O , I think she didn't ask me because I looked intimidating hahah, anyway at the end the metro police came and I left. She was also calling someone and telling him that she's about to fight people because they are not letting her go first in Arabic.

I hope the poor people in line didn't get in trouble because they honestly didn't do anything wrong :(

Please stay humble no matter how superior you think you are to others!

How to thin leather

I have a letter that is around 1.2-1.6mm thick, chrome leather, how can I thin it down because I want to wrap it around an iPhone case, I tried the skiving tools they are so useless, they die out fast and are not that sharp, I recently bought a small skiving machine and had to return it because it was also not working great.

any solutions or advise please?

Super Annoying neighbor

A lady just moved next to my apartment (won't say the nationality)! she screams and cries all day, its been a week then blasts music so high, then blasts Qur'an on high volume, I'm too beyond confused, I got soo scared to even ask her to turn it down, I had to talk to security.

Now I kind of feel bad cause she might be ill or something.. something is defiantly wrong with her.

Finally launched :')

After a very long time of self doubt, I finally launched the website I have been working on for ages.
I make real leather products myself, what made me go forward with this is I reached out to one major airline in the country and they seem interested in gifting first class and business class passengers some of my products.

Some good news :')

So I have been working in corporate for so long now, reached a point where I don't feel passionate of what I'm doing and I can't wait for 6PM to reach so I can go back home like many of us. I actually have a skill of making things out of leather, didn't think so much of it before till recently.

I started a tiny business from home and started making leather desktop mats, I'm already making sales of around 600 AED per day, Im also planing on adding more products :') , I actually cried today because I had so much doubt I never thought this could work out, its crazy how life happens.

I think what has helped me is MARKETING!! I have been following brands that are killing it right now and basically understood their content strategy on social media and replicated the same, it works lol.

Just wanted to share and say in case you have a high income skill that you can monetize don't ignore it please.

Hi guys, this is my first attempt at making something, decided to do a laptop mat, I wanted to paint the edges but the color doesn't stay on the edge and leaks on the surface as seen in the phot, I used flat brushes. Please advise what to do in this case, how can I keep the color on the edges only?

Guys I'm confused, HR based in India just told me my April salary will be paid with 14 days ? is it legal to hold my salary and pay it with my end of service?

I know that EOS can be paid within 14 days, but my last salary should be paid on time right?
