Is GCET worth joining for CSE? Need honest opinions 🥲

I'm most probably getting GCET (Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology) through UPTAC for CSE (or maybe a CSE specialization), and I'm really confused.
Online sab jagah mixed reviews mil rahe hain. Kuch log bolte hain placements achi hain, kuch bolte hain sirf top students ko hi milti hain. 🥀🥲
I have a few questions:
• Is GCET actually worth joining in 2026? • How are the CSE placements nowadays? (Realistically average package kitna hai?) • College life kaisi hai? Fests, clubs, sports, coding culture, etc. • Faculty and attendance ka scene kaisa hai? • Hostels worth it hain ya PG better rahega? • Coding aur internships ke liye environment kaisa hai? • Kya companies genuinely aati hain ya placement stats thode inflated hote hain? • Agar option ho to GCET vs AKGEC vs GL Bajaj vs NIET, what would you choose and why?
I'm not expecting a ₹30 LPA package 💔😭. Bas ek aisa college chahiye jahan mehnat karne ke baad decent software job mil sake.
Please sirf brochure wali baatein mat batana 😭. If you're a current student or recent passout, I'd really appreciate your honest experience—the good, the bad, everything.
