Two 26 year old guys have drowned the Willamette in the span of 4 days (7/14 & 7/18). Both were on paddleboards and neither were wearing lifejackets. The most recent incident occurred up near Black Canyon campground.

Edit: drowned *in the Willamette. Wear a lifejacket y'all. Also, I think people assume a paddleboard down the Willamette is a "chill" time.. wrong. The river will tip you and spin you in a split-second, then it'll sink you.

Bar Purlieu street-side seating struck again. According to an officer, no one was hurt in the seating area. The restaurant added the toppled bollards in the pic after the last couple of incidents.
