Flying Denver to Rome, Italy, with a 36 lbs dog as excess baggage on Lufthansa via Frankfurt. We are 7 days now from takeoff and the forecast is saying temps in the high 90s in Denver that day. Will Lufthansa refuse to check him in? Cannot get a straight answer by calling Lufthansa. Has anyone flown on Lufthansa from Denver during this heat wave and it worked out?
