Is there a option to set the time or timezone? I couldn't find one.

I first noticed on the general photos I took of wildlife last week that the day and time was incorrect. I looked at the subs from my astro sessions and their times were off, too.

On further inspection it seems all the photos are off by 6 hours, perhaps the difference between MDT and China? Curiously enough when I looked at the Atlas this morning, the time looks correct.

If the D3 is supposed to be automatically fetching the time and date from my phone, it's doesn't appear to be doing so.

I was able to get three nights of observation on a recent dark sky trip, so now want to go through the images and delete the bad ones the D3 missed before doing a megastack. My impression is that "bright" objects such as planes, satellites, and clouds will degrade a sub and should be deleted, but what about "dark" objects? Specifically in one sequence the target moves so tree leaves and limbs enter the field of view blocking the stars, but not reflecting light as clouds do. As long as the trees do not obscure the target is that a bad thing?

Don't know if I was brilliant or crazy, but as I plan to head to elevation and schedule observations in the chilly night time while I'm cozy in my sleeping bag, I decided to put my D3 in the fridge to cool it down so I could take some darks at lower temps before the trip. The factory darks are at 25ºC.

I was successful, however, the D3 created two, or sometimes three instead of the expected one at a specific exposure and gain. Those multiples vary by only a degree or two.

Is this expected? or needed? Should I remove some of the redundant darks to save memory? Thanks.

I wanted to disconnect from my D3 yesterday after taking some darks. I tapped the name of my telescope to bring up the nearby devices drop down as that's the only place I know that has a Disconnect button (shown in user manual 1.1.6.2) however the spinner spins next to Nearby Devices, but the drop down never populates. i.e., I do not see my device nor the Disconnect button next to it. The spinner just spins indefinitely.

Is there another procedure to disconnect that I have just not stumbled upon or is this an issue?

Is it my imagination or does the Dwarf app continue to run in the background, perhaps searching for the telescope connection? Seems since I activated my D3, my iPhone battery has been dropping much faster than usual. Finally dawned on me this morning to quit the app if I'm not going to be using the scope any time soon. Thanks.
