Year in industry
Hi I’m a first year undergraduate studying a masters in computer science with a year in industry. I’m also currently sitting my finals for first year and honestly I don’t think I’m going to do exceptionally well . My main concern is however that as second year approaches that means I need to start applying for industrial placement roles as well as internships , but I don’t currently feel my cv is up to scratch all I have is a couple stuff from sixth form . Does anyone have any summer project ideas or advice that I could use to boost my cv this year to secure an industrial placement or internship for my 3rd year or second year summer ? As well as this does the fact that I didn’t secure an internship or spring significantly harm my chances or is there still hope for me ? Thanks
