UA F2F Advice

Hello, I had my interview about 2 years ago and have been on the line since. Things could have changed but these are tips that worked for me:

YOU’RE BEING WATCHED AS SOON AS YOU ENTER THE DOOR

1. Smile, and NEVER stop smiling. Be excited this is a great opportunity.
2. Dress properly and professionally, everyone wears that dress off of amazon - be a little different. HAIR ALWAYS IN A BUN OR IF ITS ABOVE YOUR SHOULDER KEEP IT DOWN AND NEAT(they love a lil bob moment🥰)
3. Talk to everyone, no matter if the vibe is off. You won’t see them again most likely anyways.
4. Be pleasant to everyone
5. Have some enthusiasm in your answers (ill elaborate later)
6. Get comfortable, BUT not too comfortable
7. Don’t be shy, everyone I saw who was shy at my f2f did not make it (im not lying) BE CONFIDENT!
8. When you’re waiting for your group to get called for the activity, dont just stand around .. TALK TO PEOPLE (ik im saying this a lot but its important)
9. When asked a question, go overboard for example: “A customer is upset that the flight is delayed, what would you do to help” - “The first thing I would do is ask why they are traveling to help take their mind off of the delay. I would chat with them for a little bit, offer a drink or snack, and constantly check in on them to make sure they are feeling better” GO OVERBOARD! You have to be the BEST BEST flight attendant possible. Another example “Crew scheduling calls you to tell you your trip has been changed and they assign you a new gate, what would you do?” - “I would let them know I’m on my way to the gate as quick as possible and thank you for informing me of the change.”
10. When doing group activities, don’t be too quiet and dont be too loud. Ask your crew how they feel about a decision you guys made together. Always ask people what they think. And give your input BUT NOT TOO MUCH. Never overpower the group, not even recruiters like a try hard.
11. Make yourself memorable BY:
- Helping someone
- Dressing professionally and following all outfit guidelines
- Continously smiling
- Having enthusiasm and excitement in your voice
- Cheering others on

This is not guaranteed, but this is what worked for me.

Hope this helps!💕
