I have never did a reset before and this should be easy but we have a lot of energizer batteries and some I cant figure out what to do with. I posted a couple hours before I started it but now it just looks like a mess. My SM won't do it cause he is lazy and he assigned it to me.

My old SM kept the store nice and clean and all the product in the backroom. This new SM let's it spill on the sales floor. It reminds me of a dollar general. There are u boats all over the place, boxes everywhere, and bins just sitting in the plus aisle from where the merch never finished setting it up. She does that alot makes a mess and doesn't clean it up.

It has been a nightmare with this SM.

So we just lost a ASM, night cashier, and a stocker because of this SM. He is driving people to the brink of quitting and more are talking about quitting. I mentioned in my last post he is a nasty old pervert who is lazy. He only wants to hire young girls who fit his type. He has the store all messed up. Our seasonal area looks like trash because he has his new preference doing it and she has only been with the company 2 months. She is the new merch. She is barely getting any of the freight out. He also was putting a lot of work on the night cashiers where they weren't able to get the night duties done such as sweeping and cleaning registers. All while he did nothing. While the night cashier went to break he literally stood and talked to some person in the store and had customers waiting on him. He called one of the day cashiers Mediocre sorry that might be spelled wrong in front of customers. He also asked a night cashier if she really needed a break.

My store got a new SM over a month ago and I cant stop hearing bad things about him. I heard he was fired from his last two jobs because he was inappropriate with young girls. He has been so lazy this past month. Today I come to find out we have lost 3 people at work due to this guy. He is putting too much work on the employees. We even lost our main night manager because he creeped her out. She is young so it is possible he made moves.

How do you go about that? Some people need those days off but I know we are supposed to schedule our stockers on those days?

So I was asking my lazy SM about being promoted to merch and he said I was not getting the job. He would not even interview me for it. So fast forward and I find out who he hires. It is a young girl who is mabey 20. Nothing wrong with her age but he got fired from his last job for being inappropriate with young girls. I work my ass off and know the merch job, and SM job but somehow I am inadequate? I stock 7 areas that are very heavy each week while he sits his lazy ass in the office. He sat in the office and did nothing while I busted my ass on truck. He even left early today. I never got to leave early while we didnt have a store manager. I did 11 hour days while another manager was on vacation. I decided I was not going to go in tomorrow but he just tried to switch me days on a day I already work. Like bitch you are the SM if I call out you have to work.

So I am trying to figure out if the new SM is lazy or what. He has been doing office work for straight two weeks now. I went off on him yesterday cause I said we need help stocking and he did his usual it is everyone's job spew. To explain Our last SM left in May and he was a good one. I took over the store to the best of my ability in June and July but things were fine and freight wasn't behind. I even did task through ops center so the only task that need done are August. So back to where I left off. I asked if he was going to stock today and he said no. I told him we need help our seasonal is backing up and Christmas is coming. He said he was busy with tasks that have built over the summer that we didn't do and other stuff. The only tasks were for August. Also I am not a SM so if his email full that is his problem because I can't access that. Why is he taking so long in the office.

Most of the work is being put on me because other than SM I am the only other full time person. He is lazy as hell . Our backroom is small and is filled with fall and Halloween seasonal from where he is not stocking it and on our next truck Christmas is coming. He won't stock anything just sits in the office all day and does unknown. The only thing he does with the freight is stick it on u boats and calls it a day. Please tell me he will not last long.

So in my last post I was mentioning how my SM was lazy which he is but today I asked about the merch position. He said he will not consider me for it because I can't even do my own job right. Like I am doing your job and the merch job now so why not? I didn't not say those things. Everyone I have talked to think he wants to hire someone he knows. I have tried to explain to him that the SM and merch are our two highest positions and we need people who know what they are doing but he said you are one of the highest positions too so I trust you. Like my only job is to do deposit and watch the front end and I told him that. I even told him I am not required to be on every truck like the merch. I am on every truck now out of my own doing cause I make the schedule. Hell I make his schedule.

So we just got a new SM at our store and he has been there for two weeks now and it does not look good. I am still doing all the SM duties plus more. A couple of days ago he was mad at me because I decided to stock instead of packaway graduation. I eventually did it but why didn't he do it? Like isn't that your job. Now today I am stocking hbc cause we just got a truck which he didn't help unload but he even then goes and yell that I need to get the wow table together and setup two Halloween end caps. Mind you he sat in the office for 9 hours. I am still making the schedule and he is scheduled 1 night a week but he can't even get the deposit right. He entered the deposit amount in the computer 3 times like if you make multiple deposits.

So I didn't think I would be posting this soon. My store finally got a new SM and it isn't going so well. He isn't doing any work and all the responsibilities are still on me and the other ASMs. I have to constantly tell him what to do and he hates paperwork so I spent most of the day yesterday getting the office together. I have a week of deposit logs that need to be verified and filed away but he won't go to the bank. I was the one doing all this while we didn't have a SM and we were caught up on stuff but I handed everything over to him the day he came in because I thought he was taking over and it since went down hill. I am going to the bank tomorrow to get the deposit logs taking care of but I feel like man I should have just applied for the SM job at this point. My main question was about the schedule. We usually kept to to four main shifts, 7:30-12:30, 10-3, 12:30-5:30, and 5:30-10:30. So I am still doing the schedule but he made a fake schedule of how he wants to do it. The schedule is all over the place. Some days people are here 2-7, 11-4, 1:30-6:30, 6:30-10:30. So the day is covered with four shifts but each day it is different.

Thank you everyone who has helped me while my store did not have a SM. We have one now but he sorta has that new SM syndrome. He wants the store to be this and that. My storw is already a great store but you can only do so much. He was talking about rearranging the whole backroom. There is a lot of product back there. That is not even the worst part. He is making crazy schedules. He needed me to add extra freight hours to one of his schedules so I did and the cashiers are getting only 10 hours each and the hours they come in don't make sense. Some people can't work Saturdays they are scheduled those days. Next week is going to be interesting. I made this week's schedule so that is why no one is complaining yet.

So my DM is always complaining about this issue. We failed one audit because we had empty boxes in the yellow area. Today was truck day and we do not have a big backroom so there was stuff everywhere. I had a couple of u boats in front of the doors for like 5 seconds and he called to complain. He was supposed to be off today yet he is watching the cameras? He also prefers that u boats stay on the sales floor instead of blocking doors in the back. Now we have u boats on the floor.

So I am an OPS and I have posted many times. I am the person who is running my store right now. I know how to order frozen, check in both trucks, do schedule, complete merch tasks and some SM tasks. I feel like I could have my own store at this point. I keep asking my DM about the open merch position at my store but he keeps giving me the run around. He at one point was going to interview me but my phone got the text message three days later. Now he says he doesn't want to make that decision he is going to let the new SM make that decision based off how well we get along. He said there was someone else who was interested too.

So maybe I am pissed because it has been a long couple of days but I have to get this off my chest. I make the schedule to fit around the other two managers that are left at my store. One manager will not work nights so I always schedule her mornings. The other will not work long shifts so to combat that I have to push my shifts out as far as they can go without going into OT. I work 9 and 10 hour shifts each week. I am the only one at my store that does both the frozen and gm truck. We had a paint job done a couple of weeks ago and I was the one who had to stay up all night to sit with the crew. I am only an OPS manager and all the responsibility of this store is on me. Now I have the night manager complaining that she wants to drop down to 4 nights and make her 5 day a day shift. Which means I will have to pick up one of her nights. It becomes a problem because we go to the bank twice a week and I am the one who goes. I can't go at night. She does not drive.

So my store hasn't been hiring because we have no SM. It is just me an OPS who is running the store. We got a new employee transferred from another store who will be working at our store. I figure out how to enter her information into the computer such as her employee ID and such like where the associate maintenance is. I can add her to the schedule and give her shifts, we haven't did much with workday. She said she has all that set up from her previous store. So I just want to make sure she is an official employee and is getting paid. Is this right on my end?
