Bonjour ,
J’aimerais un avis sur ces trois cartes .
Qu’en pensez vous ?
Est ce que c’est un bon achat ?
Hi everyone,
I came across this picture (see attached image.png) and I'm trying to identify the exact model of this portable HF vertical antenna.
It looks like a commercial build or a very clean kit rather than a pure DIY project. It features a tripod base, a large black loading coil body, and a telescopic whip on top.
Does anyone recognize the specific brand or model?
If it happens to be a known DIY 3D-printed/PVC project, does anyone have a link to the build instructions?
Any lead or similar commercial alternatives (like JPC-12, Super Antenna, etc.) would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance

Hey everyone!
I want to build a portable charging station inside a hard case like the one in image.png, but my electrical skills are pretty basic.
Looking for some quick advice to do this
safely:
• Safety: What are the risks of overheating in an enclosed case? Do I need a fuse or active ventilation?
• Wiring: How do I cleanly route multiple chargers into a single external power plug?
• Mounting: What's the best way to secure components inside without ruining the case's waterproof seal?
Thanks for the help!
Hi everyone,
I’m a beginner and I want to build a compact, portable HF tactical rig for data modes (JS8Call, Vara, etc.) to use while hiking or operating from the field, exactly like the one in the first picture.
I’ve been looking for a Yaesu FT-817ND or FT-818ND to put inside a 3D-printed or Armoloq chassis, but as you can see on the second screenshot, eBay prices in Europe/Japan are reaching nearly €900 ($950+), which seems way too expensive for a used QRP radio.
I have a few questions for the community:
Where do you usually buy used FT-817/818 radios at a fair price nowadays?
Given the current used market prices, would you recommend looking into a new Xiegu X6100 instead for a budget-friendly digital setup?
If| go the Yaesu route, what is a "fair price" I should be looking for?
Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions!
