Silly questions from a 28 (F)Yr old newbie
Hello guys. I've been thinking of buying a skateboard sincs I was a kid. Now that I've money of my own, I think I can buy one finally. But here are some questions that have come up in my mind
I'm 28, a little towards the heavier side of weight. How feasible will skateboarding be for me? Will I be able to learn it for real?
I stay in a campus. And I am a PhD scholar. The roads inside the campus are very good but sadly there are no proper skateboard parks nearby. My university is also on the outskirts of the city so even if there is a skating park, I won't be able to go regularly. So are normal campus roads okay to skate on?
Budget isn't an issue for me right now. I did some research on which brands to buy from. So far so Piso is something im gravitating towards.
I spend a lot of time inside the lab..have to. How regular do I need to be to have a decent level of control over a skateboard? I know the question is silly but I do need to know the level of commitment required
