Most brands here max out at 7K.
Im looking for something in the 10-15K range.

I can go for importing a full on, sexy deck + Independent + Bones Red + Spitfire Build but most have ludicrous delivery prices or either lack availability.

Needs recommendations for where I can get a bit higher end board without spending 10K just on shipping.

PS: Itll be my second board.

Hi guys! Im new to bangalore (shifted here cus of my tech job). Came across a few posts from this page, and it got me excited to skate after a long while. I used to skate a little as a kid, but it’s been so many years since I last did that. I want to start again, but I have no clue where to begin, and more importantly, where to find a (judgement free) rink. It would be great to find a community and maybe some sort of regular classes later on, but for starters I want to explore if I even enjoy skating now.

So please do help if you have suggestions about how to go about this restarting process and where I can go to skate as a beginner who is afraid of big crowds of people watching them struggle.

I'm just curious on what's your story for learning to skate, like was it just out of boredom or somn else?

I haven't learnt to skate as of now, but I do wanna learn it for the fun of learning something new :D

I'm from Bangalore and I'm looking to get into skateboarding. I'm a complete beginner and have basically no idea about skateboard brands or features.

I want to buy a decent quality skateboard that I can use long-term, rather than something cheap that I'll have to replace once I get past the beginner stage.

I'd really appreciate some advice from experienced skaters on what I should look for when buying a skateboard, things like what brands are reliable, what specs/materials matter, and what I should avoid as a beginner.

If you have any recommendations for a good board available in India/Bangalore, I'd love to hear them too.

i understand how to do them but they're extremely jerky and I can't get them to go smoothly

Its only been 2 weeks since I started skating. I don't even own a board i just took my friend's skateboard to learn. The tough part was to find a well maintained spot to skate. But i was able to find one nearby it's just a flat ground but atleast it's something. I can practice flat ground tricks. It gets really boring skating alone everyday would be fun to have some buddies to practice together. Please do reach out.
