I am not able to access this site for over a year now.

Okay yeah, I am pretty late but I just finished watching Voicemails for Isabelle and I absolutely loved it!

I watched this movie with pretty low expectations as the reviews online were mixed. Yes, it was predictable, yes, it was kinda unrealistic and yeah it was not the best romcom I have watched. Despite all of this, I would say it was the best romcom released like since covid. It just gave the old 20s classic rom com vibe that I am a sucker for.

Most movies nowadays have this rich bad boy, mysterious popular boy or something along that line and don't get me wrong it is amazing when it is done right but there is just so much of them and they all literally the same. Maybe that is why this movie stood out to me. It was actually funny, the guy was not a dick at the beginning and slowly become nice to her at the end, it had a proper plot and the all the characters acted out reasonably.

I hope we get more movies like this.
