Help finding replacemnt component?

Hi All - I recently had an electrical storm take out a bunch of my electronics via the cable modem. My Onkyo HT-R393 AV reciever powers on, but turns off within a few seconds. No visible damage inside, so I'm guessing a voltage spike took out some ICs on the standby power board? Not an electrical engineer, but an engineer with some breadth.

Do you agree that this board is the problem and should be replaced? Amy suggestions where to get it?

Thanks in advance!

Home grounding issue?

I recently lost about $1500 worth of electronics, likely in conjunction with a lightning storm (in CT USA). My home is newish (1996) and built by a very reputable builder. Lost cable modem, wifi router, DVD player, and AV receiver, likely some more. All were in the basement, most were plugged into surge protectors (not tripped), and not all on the same circuit. Nothing else in the house seems to be affected, including another AV receiver. Any thoughts on what might have happened and how to prevent it from happening again? Everything except the receiver won't power on, receiver turns on, then powers off after 3 seconds.

Thanks in advance!
