Hey everyone, currently I am working as a product support engineer with 2.2 YOE! I have always wanted to become a product manager. Being a product support engineer, i work with customers and get to know their pain points! I work with engineering team and product team as well!
My question is, I am not sure how i can pivot to PM role and how to prep for it. Should i directly aim for APM/PM roles or try to pivot to adjacent roles like Customer Success, Product Ops, Solution enginert and then target for PM!
Also, in my company internal switching is not possible.
