Hello, my daughter (12yo) needs to be referred to conduct proper tests and potentially diagnosed (her active stand tests and symptoms all point in this direction). After a frustrating GP appointment, I'm hoping someone can recommend:
- What would be the best referral to ask for - a cardiologist? paed?
- A specific practitioner in Melbourne?
- What data I can collect to take with me?
We have conducted home Active Stand tests with an ox meter and blood pressure and been tracking symptoms. Have also had blood tests (general panels) and been on iron and vitamin D supplements and have corrected low readings in both of these. I want to be the best advocate for finding out what is happening and make sure her symptoms are assessed by a knowledgeable professional that will take her seriously,
