On the 24th, an exclusive article by Sisa Journal reported on the lawsuit Illit's creative director Serian Heu had filed and lost against Min Heejin.

Serian Heu's legal team argued the Newjeans fandom had attacked her. However, the court pointed out Serian Heu had antagonized the Newjeans fandom 1st by posting an image of a middle finger on her Instagram.

Stealing Newjeans' Planning Documents - Images 1,2

1st image is a news report of Hybe VS MHJ court ruling that says it appears Serian Heu took Newjeans' planning proposal created by Min Heejin and used it to create Illit (source):

2nd image is of a HYBE employee's testimony recalling his conversation with Serian Heu asking him for Newjeans' planning proposal (full ruling, page 49, footnote 18):

>BF, who worked in the defendant (HYBE)'s storytelling team, stated that upon the request of BG's (BELIFT LAB) creative director BH (Serian Heu) he delivered the G (Newjeans) proposal. In a phone call on June 20, 2024, BF explained:

I was very impressed when I saw Newjeans's materials back then, so I said, 'I have these resources - would you like to take a look?' and I showed them. I thought the materials were well-organized for group creation, so I shared them.

BF: Yes, yes, that's right and I thought, 'Wouldn't this end up being similar?' When I saw videos being uploaded on Q, I thought, 'They must have referenced all of this, so why do they keep denying it...' At that time, I think they were struggling internally and just wanted help from me. Serian Heu told me, 'Ah, it's so hard. Nothing is working.' But the actual work situation, I couldn't really know. The reason I showed them the materials then was because they seemed completely lost. Maybe things were roughly done and they were just venting to me, but l couldn't know the real situation."

TLDR: Serian Heu admits she doesn't have a working plan for Illit and instead uses HYBE's infrastructure to steal Newjeans' plan that she then copied to create Illit.

'Lying' about her Education - Images 3,4,5,6,7

Images 3 and 4 show a strange wave of mediaplay that took place on the same day BELIFT LAB sued MHJ (2024.05.22) and throughout 2024 with the same messages spammed on DCinside and similar forums praising Serian Heu and bashing MHJ:

>Heo Se-ryeon is not someone whose qualifications and career should ever be disregarded

>Heo Se-ryeon is a graduate of the top-tier Hongik University College of Fine Arts and has been active as a fashion editor for media outlets such as Elle, Harper's Bazard and Dazed since 2013, oversseing Vogue's digital content.

>Heo Se-ryeon, a real ace to get into Hongik University

>The famous fashion magazine director Heo Se-ryeon from Hongik University Fine Arts department

>Min Heejin jealous of Heo Se-ryeon who graduated from the top-tier Hongik University Fine Arts department.

>etc...

That's notable for 3 reasons:

• DCinside, a Korean internet forum that can be described as a crossover between Reddit and 4chan, is the same platform all misinformation targeting Newjeans and Min Heejin, all HYBE's narratives, and other news from cyberwrecker Lee Jinho or Dispatch on the K-side originate from. Image 5 shows it's also the same platform BELIFT LAB lifted their material from to make their infamous 'debunking' video.
• K-bunnies later digged into Serian Heu's past and found out that it's false. Contrary to what the mediaplay says, images 6 and 7 found on an old blog post show she graduated from Sejong University (mid-tier), not Hongik University (top 1-2, also known colloquially as Hongdae).
• As soon as it was revealed it was false and her namu wiki page was accordingly updated (the Korean equivalent of Wikipedia), Serian Heu personally sent a legal request to take down her namu wiki page.

TLDR: Suspicious mediaplay using HYBE's affiliated channels to lie about Serian Heu's education. While Serian Heu may not have brought it up directly, she didn't mind the misinformation when her namu wiki page was claiming she had graduated from Hongik University and immediately took the page down to hide the truth when it was revealed she hadn't.

Bad Temperament and Poor Character - Image 8

Serian Heu knew she had stolen Newjeans' planning documents and used them to copy Newjeans. She knew she was in the wrong.

So when Min Heejin held her press conference to defend herself against HYBE's accusations and call out HYBE and BELIFT LAB, Serian Heu could have chosen to stay silent in shame or even profusely apologize after getting caught.

Instead, she took it to her Instagram to rage-post disparaging stories like a middle finger or other things like a 10-year-old for the whole world to see.

And then she took it one step further and filed a lawsuit against Min Heejin, the person she stole from, and lost. The perpetrator suing the victim is peak moral depravity.

There is a pun in Serian Heu's Korean name, Heo Seryeon 허세련.

(Serian Heu / Heu Serian is a personal, stylized English romanization and her adopted official English name. The 'correct' romanization is Heo Se-ryeon)

Heose 허세 is used in Korean to describe someone who is pretending to be something they are not, someone who is fake. Her name Heo Seryeon 허세련 can be jokingly translated as fake or phony person. And it's one phonetic pun away from 허세년 = fake bitch (slang). Quite the tell on yourself after what happened.

What's everyone's opinion of Serian Heu? Is she Bang Sihyuk's pawn or a 'villain' in her own right?

HYBE's previously owned black PR agency 'TAG PR' or 'The Agency Group PR' has been sued by half a dozen individuals who have been victims of an organized smear campaign.

In a preliminary ruling against TAG PR, Superior Court judge Michael Whitaker wrote that Justin Baldoni's lawyer and crisis publicist Melissa Nathan, CEO of TAG PR, are implicated in the creation of smear websites.

One of those websites previously revealed in another victim's deposition is minheejin.net. This website had posted numerous lies, such as "Min Heejin and Newjeans are criminals" or "Min Heejin, Newjeans and their fans are harassing people of Jewish Faith". ('minheejin.net' appearing in the complaint filed against officials of Tag PR, a former subsidiary of HYBE: Korean article 25.12.10, English article 25.12.11, follow-up Korean articles 1 25.12.19 and 2 26.01.23, related The Hollywood Reporter articles mentioning it 1 26.02.11, 2 26.04.21 and 3 26.04.30)

The judge noted:

• "There is a tangled web of connections between these sites and numerous others."
• There is a “conspiracy to smear various individuals."
• The lawyer may have been “involved in directing or otherwise effectuating all of those alleged smear campaigns.”

Among the evidence are audio recordings containing instructions to Melissa Nathan to smear the victims.

This ruling marks the 1st time a judge acknowledges the existence of a smear conspiracy targeting Min Heejin and others. The defamation lawsuit will proceed to trial after the court rejected the motion to dismiss it, citing sufficient evidence to prove the case.

It remains to be seen if Min Heejin will file her own lawsuit against TAG PR or HYBE.

5 minutes of wholesome Daerin ^ 💚💛

Newjeans are not afraid to call out Hybe and Bang Sihyuk.

Newjeans don't need Hybe to succeed.

Newjeans, who are teenagers, have the character and integrity to stand for themselves and others within and outside Hybe while their favs, who are grown-ups, stand for nothing.

All this talk about changing the idol industry or paving the way, but when it's time to walk the talk, everyone goes quiet. 🤫

And here's why:

When Newjeans speaks out, they are rallying support and building momentum for their activities now and in the future once they are free from Hybe. If they stay silent, they are slowly phased out and forgotten, and years later people ask, "What happened to NewJeans?"

When you are a celebrity and your professional image is your livelihood, you don't let a corporation walk all over you with smears and lies. You fight. You share your experience and tell your story. People remember voices, not silence.

Popular female idols like Blackpink or Twice are in their early 30s and are more successful than ever. Even lesser-known idols like S.E.S. Bada or S.E.S. Eugene who are in their 40s continue to appear in public, release music and tour.

With the right support, top idols don't fizzle out. For Newjeans who will be in their early 20s in a couple years, they have their whole life and a long career ahead of them.

Newjeans have fans fighting alongside them, the public empathizing with their misfortune, and professionals anticipating working with them again. They have Min Heejin's ecosystem ready to catapult them to superstardom once more. The whole world is yearning for their return as 5.

And that's only possible because in September 2024 and in November 2024, Newjeans stood up for themselves and made history.

The incident with the Illit manager instructing the group to ignore Hanni, and thus engaging in workplace bullying, has been discussed aplenty.

What is less talked about is Illit members' reaction when they are told by the manager to ignore Hanni.

3. Illit members' reactions to the manager's instructions differ:

Conclusion:

According to this evidence, it can be understood that at the very least the 1st Illit member agreed and participated in some capacity in Hanni's bullying by saying "Yes yes...I'll just pretend I don't know her".

Furthermore, Illit members' questionable reactions were never mentioned publicly. It appears Hanni, despite feeling wronged, intentionally omitted that information during the Youtube livestream and at the National Assembly to protect Illit members.

Newjeans' law firm Sejong also redacted the most controversial part "Yes yes...I'll just pretend I don't know her" during court proceedings, it was Hybe/Ador that showed that part.

Belift Lab also investigated themselves (?!), and the CCTV footage showing that interaction subsequently mysteriously disappeared.
