Apparently there was a second round of elite optionals today, and apparently you can sign up for multiple sessions at the same qualifier. Today's qualified gymnasts are:

They join juniors Claire Ekart and Bailynn Kasprzak and seniors Azaraya Ra-Akbar and 2 event qualifier Jasmine Robles from Day 1.

*Note: Celestine also received a 3 event compulsory score but did not get the minimum AA score. This means that if she does not compete elite compulsory at the upcoming Parkettes Elite National Qualifier in June or attends and does not get a 35 minimum AA score, she will only be allowed to compete VT, BB, and FX domestically for the rest of this elite year.

I hadn't heard anything about her being done with elite. In fact she looked to be training new combos on floor that wouldn't make sense in NCAA. KJ Kindler elite coaching era?

She shared all of this as a word of warning to parents considering putting their kids in gymnastics.

Gina and Marc Chirilcenco were temporarily suspended after an investigation with the Department Council for Youth and Sports was launched in July of 2025. This investigation was prompted by reports made by Kaylia Nemour of abuse and control.

After a year of reviewing evidence such as hearings, testimonies, documents, and surprise visits to the gym, both coaches have been cleared of these accusations. The council has suggested the gym provide more strengthening training, psychological support for gymnasts, and appoint an independent advisor.
