I would like to hear from you about registration, benefits and cross border accommodation.

The recommendation is to register at the Municipality for a lot of good reasons, but Maastricht student often face the neessity to get an accommodation in Belgium. It's closer than many alternatives, but I am afraid that all benefits (including working a minimum hours per month to get free insurance and other things, is that true?) won't be applicable.

Can you inform? For corss border students, what's your experience?
