New to me Saint from the local pawn shop. How’d I do?

$650 OTD and they threw on a Vortex Spitfire Prism optic for $200. Seemed like a decent enough deal and I’ve heard great things about these. Can anyone give me more info on what I’m looking at and the mods? How’d I do?

Bought for $399 with a Safari Land holster. How’d I do used gun shopping?

Excited to try this one out. Found it at Bass Pro Shop of all places. It came with the safari land (level II/III ?) locking holster. I feel like I made out like a bandit.

Hi everyone. I’ve been working on helicopters for the last 5 years, exclusively for the military. I have held my A&P for two years. I have about a year left until my contract is up, and have experience on 3 airframes as well as a few hundred flight hours as a flight engineer. I usually work anywhere from 40-60 hours a week, so I am no stranger to working long weeks/weekends.

I am seeking advice/opinions from others that have made a similar move. What was the job search like? Should I start knocking on doors at hangers in my city? Any tips for interviewing?

I have seen a few other rotorcraft jobs in my area, but I’ve heard so many good things about working for the majors I’d like to give it a try while I’m still still young(ish).
