New build or upgrade? Upgrade, I suppose. My pc is a frankenzombie
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) HP z820 workstation, Intel (R) Xeon(r) e5-2630 v2 2.60ghz, geforce gtx 1060 6gb. 56gb ddr3. Almost all found cheap second hand by me and a mate that used to buy and sell ram.
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) Half the adobe suite, infrequent VR with old quest 2 headset, rdr2, squad, cyberpunk, dcs. Maybe gtavi. Maybe gtaiv modded to death.
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? UK, I drive past a Currys on the way to work
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) Currently using my pc for couch gaming so it's hooked up the a tv, will be on a dedicated monitor in new house. 4k is a bit of a pipe dream
Budget range? (Include tax considerations) £1-2k depending
WiFi or wired connection? Wired would do fine for now
Size/noise constraints? Current case is 510/210/450mm and has 6 hair dryers. Would be nice if it were quieter, but I am always wearing noise cancellers
Color/lighting preferences? Dark as possible.
Any other specific needs? Enough usb holes for 2 ext hd, hotas and throttle, a couple of dongles. bonus: a usb C hole. Would be nice to spend as little as possible and squeeze every last bit of juice out of what I have. Has anyone every tried to pimp a Z820?
