Telugu people suck

This is a comment that I posted in some international subreddit :

I'm really fixated on it the past few days, there are no protests in my area. Doing my part trying to spread things as much as possible. First, the media are biased as fuck. Then they block and take down videos online. It is all in our hands, maybe that is the best part about Gen-Z, we are chronically online enough to communicate despite the government trying to block the truth.

But there are all sorts of people at the protest site. Many veterans posted videos in support, the Sikh community has arrived at the main protest site to support. There are professors, teachers, doctors, little kids, old people, parents that came to the protest. Then there are independent journalists on instagram like peektv trying to update us despite the jammers (and videos being blocked), trying to report even when the tear gas was causing them discomfort. Whoever could not attend sent food and medicine. The gurudwaras welcomed the protesters to stay when injured, sleepy, and for food. The masjids opened their doors to clean up the wounds, there was a video of it. There are many lawyers who gave their contacts so that anyone detained can make use of it for free. It is beautiful.

It is indeed beautiful. I am so fixated that it's unhealthy now but there's also a reason why I'm so fixated. I live in AP, it is terrible here. Everyone around me is a right winger. If you go to the Visakhapatnam subreddit, people are still fighting over reservation and hating Sonam Wangchuk, debating on CJP. The AI Data center protesters got detained otw to protest. And I don't know the issue with that one guy who kept being arrested despite getting bail so many times. But it is scary to look at. It's awful here. There's not ONE person that I know irl who shares the same values as me. A person called me "congressi" for saying that I hate bjp. Like what? How does that even make sense? Are they so deep in their bubble that anyone who hates bjp automatically becomes a congress supporter?

I made a post before asking for telugu youtubers that make feminist content. Guess what, couldn't find any. There's good ones on instagram. But on YT? Nope!

I feel so isolated and sometimes I even wonder if I'm too biased, if everyone else is right. It is maddening. Saw a schoolmate who was preparing for some govt exam a few years ago (idk rn), post in support of Delhi police. No one cares about these things here. I'm angry and disgusted. The only feminist people I know are all online. I feel suffocated. I had a homely feeling about this city before, but I'm just disgusted now. And it's not just limited to my city, telugu people in general suck. Desham ante matti kadhu, Desham ante manushulu. This subreddit made me realise that there's still some hope in telugu community. Both women and men.

Everyone who is feeling isolated in a shithole environment, I hope you find your irl tribe.

// don't come at me with the, "not all telugus" comments

Edit: yeah female friendships are non-existent to me because they're all conservative here. You know the difference between male and female friendships, there's a deep emotional bond between women. That, I don't have irl.

NOTE: DO NOT CONNECT TO PUBLIC WIFI ANYWHERE BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY AT THE PROTEST SITE

Here are some videos that mainstream media won't show you regarding the protest in Delhi for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.

They're all Instagram links so they can be taken down anytime.

Thinking that sex is something women give and men receive is patriarchal

Heterosexual edition.

Women are sexual beings with autonomy and sexual needs. People being sexually abused and coerced due to patriarchy does not define sex itself.

Sex education is important, that includes consent and awareness. When two adults give proper consent to eachother, they're not controlling eachother. To think that sex can NEVER happen without a man controlling a woman is infantalizing women. Because women can want sex.

Consent, think about it.

Cognitive decline

This isn't just about my iron deficiency. I also have vitamin D and B12 deficiencies. Every doctor dismissed me. I have severe depression. I started workout, felt really good. I was consistent. Until I started getting exhausted and had to quit afrer checking my blood test. My bones hurt when doing everyday movements. Mainly knees and back. Yesterday, I was helping my mom with something, had to lift a medium sized paint bucket filled with water which was not that hard to lift before. It was really difficult yesterday, my shoulders started hurting.

I am taking vit d every week. But I couldn't find a 5k or 7k IU capsule in my country so I can only do 60k IU per week. And then it'll tank, then I repeat. Told you I have depression, it's hard for me to get out or stay hygienic. I have a lot of acne just from being unable to wash my hair often. It's painful and I pick on them everyday, making scabs.

I don't even know which one is causing which symptom. But after trying to find a new passion after depression killed my old one, I started programming. BUT I am unable to focus. I am unable to solve simple exerxises. In order to solve, you first break down the question, think of a step by step solution by asking yourself tiny questions every step, you think of it in your preferred natural language. Then you write the code. I am literally unable to fucking think of the steps. I feel too exhausted. This is discouraging me a lot and worsening my depression. I cried about this for a few nights.

I can order pills, but I NEED SHOTS for B12 and iron. Please, I can't do this. I'm tired of it. Everyone is already disappointed in me (but no one knows how much I'm disappointed in myself). I'm trying really hard. I did a total of 3 hours of studying today in small sessions. I couldn't solve a single problem. Infact, throughout this week, I did like 1 problem maybe. That's also because it's a bit more straight forward. I couldn't share my issues anywhere because it's dismissed as, "just a vitamin deficiency" no one understands except this subreddit.

The issue is that I'm unable to make up steps. Because it's a lot of thinking. It gives me mental paralysis. Spamming coffee helps you stay awake. But no amount of caffeine can help with cognitive decline.

I'm too tired to get a new blood test, see a doctor and explain myself. Doc gave me a single B12 shot the last time I went, probably just to make me feel satisfied. Dismissed all symptoms as a viral sore throat issue (when I've been having these issues for 2 years).

My mom's doc gave her 6 shots of B12. I can't see him because he only works at an organization where she can receive free treatment. I'm not eligible for it (can't explain, too personal).

Every doc in my country tells you to eat green leafy vegetables when you have B12 deficiency 🤡

Guys, when someone has depression, they find it to be really exhausting to find therapists and try them to see if they fit. A few cycles of this, you'll be too exhausted to try again. I'm familiar with this. And now it applies to my physical health too. I'm too tired to visit a doc even if you present me with one. Come to my home, don't talk to me, inject me everyday while I lay limp on my bed. That's the best I can do.

I'm sorry this is all over the place. I needed to cry about it somewhere.

Edit: proper context/time-line : https://www.reddit.com/r/Anemic/comments/1u7n7qu/cognitive_decline/os4tqll/

My depression is why I want iron and B12 shots when I can get pills without docs but if I can't get shots then I'll have to resort to pills in the end anyways. When it's hard to brush my teeth and wash my hair or body, it's also hard for me to take pills. I'm working hard to get out of this lifestyle by learning programming but when my physical health is in a decline, I don't know anymore.

TMI without revealing too much: I used to have really painful physical issues (for which I thought I needed surgery, but I didn't need, fixed it myself) caused by my depression for the first 3 years of depression. Everytime I neglect a certain everyday thing, this painful physical issue comes back with vengeance. My body doesn't let me rest. I basically put my body in an overdrive from all the neglect.
