so a while ago i applied to a seasonal tax preparer role at my local H&R block. i recently received an email asking about background check follow with what appears to be an offer? is there no interview in between?
I just tried it today because i normally only eat at marketplace. Marketplace foods are slightly better now. Dining hall not so much

Do i need to pass the tax knowledge assignment/course before even being considered for the seasonal tax associate/preparer role? I currently an accounting student who live next to an H&R office and working part time. Can they accept me then i take the tax course before starting? I dont want waste time taking the course and not even get the role.
