I was driving around downtown Toronto, Ran into a very bad pothole. Had FDS activated. Ended up with this scratch in both sides of the undercarriage. Nothing underneath- Just sides.

Did I void any warranty? Did I void my HV battery warranty? Your help is appreciated on this matter.

Car is running fine. No service alerts in on the dashboard. Happened over a week ago.

2026 Model Y, less than 2 months old.

3000km driven. I am happy we only charge at home.I am grateful I don’t have to seat at any superchargers. We are happy with this investment.

We have a 100 Amp breaker.
1 electric stove
1 laundry machine.
1 EV.
ESA certified.

My vehicle prompted me to update. I decided to do it at night when I know I wouldn’t be needing the vehicle. My wife is Pregnant and her due date is not until 3 weeks time. Few minutes into the update; my wife went into spontaneous Labor. The vehicle would not start as it was updating . We were forced to call EMS which took a while due to multiple traumatic calls happening in my region. We only have one car in our household.

We made it to the hospital. My wife and daughter made it alive. This was a scary experience.

This is our first tesla. I am just putting this out there for you all to be careful when updating this car.

Pickup was literally 15 minutes.

It is almost time to pick up.
Honestly, this isn’t a vehicle about saving on gas. When you factor in higher insurance premiums, cost Level 2 charger installation, cost of how expensive the car is, you are not really saving.

The only justifiably reason i tell to myself is that, “i test drove this car, and I loved it, life is short, get something nice.”

Insurance: $340/month; Aviva. Male in 30s. 13 years driving. No accident. Cheapest insurance after multiple brokers are quoted me.
Location: GTA AREA.

Tesla only has June 26th delivery date. I am currently out of country and not back until June 30th. Will I lose the car if I don’t pick it up on said date? My EDD is June 22- June 27th. I messaged SA on the app, no response.
Let me know what you think based on previous experience.

From your past successful delivery, how long did it take for your Tesla to arrive at your delivery location after it updated that it’s in transit. Thank you!

I am gonna be out of country during this time frame. Not back until mid July. How many days or weeks can tesla hold the car for after being called upon to pick up?

I am grateful for the less than 4 weeks turn around though.

1. When should I apply for financing?

2. When do you tell insurance to start the coverage for?

3. How long can I extend an EDD for when I have a delivery day? Realized i be out of the country on this timeframe

5. My Son and I are excited. Hopefully tesla doesn’t disappoint. 🙈

My proposed EDD is June 19th to June 30th. Tesla sent a message this morning requesting to start my application for payment. There is no VIN yet. Would you start a financing application now or ignore Tesla message and wait for a VIN?
