Since there is so much helpful discussion in this community, I thought it would be great if there was an easier way to browse it more quickly and easily.

So I've added some draft post flairs (topics):

If I have missed any topics that you see us talking about in this community, please let me know.

I know there are members of our community who offer tools and services to help Etsy digital product sellers.

Normally promoting these is not allowed in this subreddit, but I wanted to create a space where independent developers and small business owners could connect with Etsy digital product sellers, as I know how hard it is for solopreneurs to get off the ground.

If you need users to test out an app, this is also the place to request this.

Community members, please feel free to engage with or ignore this thread, as you prefer. Above all, please be careful as I cannot vet these products and services, and I do not endorse them.

This thread is not for recommending the big tools we already know about, like eRank and Everbee, and affiliate links are not allowed.

Hi all, as this community is growing at a rapid pace, I've introduced a few new rules to ensure that posts contain enough context, and that shops are slightly more established before asking for a critique or advice on lack of traffic or sales.

The main changes are:

Shop critiques:

Shops need to be at least 1 month old and have at least 10 listings.

✅ In your post you need to include:

• Context about your shop:
  1. what products you sell
  2. what niche
  3. and why you chose this
• At least one specific question you need help with
• Your shop link

❌ No IP infringement in your shop, no promotion (no product photos), no request to review individual products or listings.

General questions:

Unless you include context about your shop (see above), your post may be removed if it is very generic and has been asked many times before. For example, "How do I get more views?" Please search the subreddit for previous answers to this.

The same limits for shop age and number of listings apply if you're asking about your shop's performance, otherwise the answers will be:

• You need more listings
• You need more time

Thanks in advance. The aim here is to make this community sustainable and enjoyable for everyone to take part in.

Just a quick post to celebrate r/EtsyDigitalSeller reaching 1000 members! 🥳🎉 This is amazing given that we only started back in January!

Thank you for helping to make this a supportive and safe space for everyone, especially for the new sellers amongst us.

u/Pleasant_Bid629 has just run a few polls which give us a nice snapshot of some of our members. Looks like we have many sellers here in their first 3 months, and many sellers are in their first 100 sales. On the other hand we also have experienced sellers here with shops over 3 years old, and many of our members have sold over 1000 digital products!

So I want to thank both the new and experienced sellers for asking questions and taking the time to give advice and help others.

Let's keep making this community awesome together.
