So I’m lookin to upgrade and get a new welder, right now I just have the titanium 125 flux core welder. I wanna get into MiG and tig so I can eventually do some aluminum projects (intercooler piping, etc.). The problem is, I only have a 110 outlet in my garage, no 240. It’s on a 20a circuit and my flux core machine does just fine even with the settings cranked up. I understand that tig is a higher demand than what I’m doing with my little flux core machine, so my question is have anyone ran this machine or something similar on the 110 outlet? How’d it perform? Is my goal to even run tig and weld aluminum on 110 even feasible? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

I picked up this dcf921 off of marketplace…..(I know, bad idea. In hindsight, I should only buy and order from authorized dewalt dealers). However, I have it now and it is what it is. Does anything jump out at you guys that this one could potentially be fake or does it seem to be legit?
