Best of Toneshifterz????
This guy is new to me, dont judge me plssss. I nomally listen to extra raw and uptempo, but the song 'Rise of the Phoenix' caught my atention. He has an insane amount of songs, which songs do you recommend (apart from his top 5, checked them).
Why is hardstyle huge in some countries, but virtually nonexistent in others?
Why is hardstyle so popular in specific countries, while barely making a dent in others?
I completely understand why it’s big in the Netherlands and neighboring European countries. But why did it get so huge in Australia, while never really taking off in the US? And why is it so massive in Chile and Mexico, but practically absent in the rest of South America?
What do you guys think drives these regional differences? Also, which other countries am I missing where hardstyle is surprisingly big?
Why film an endshow if it will get released on Youtube couple days later?
For me, the biggest downside of watching an endshow is the ultimate NPC crowd that just stands there filming. The vibe is always so dead during an endshow, it’s like a zombie crowd. If you look at the Dominator endshow, for example, a huge part of the problem is all those phones capturing the moment. The ironic part is that the whole show is uploaded to YouTube a couple of days later anyway, with way better quality and from multiple angles. If everyone could just stop filming and start living in the moment, the endshow would be absolutely insane and the real peak of the day. Let me know if you agree or not, and why
What are the subgenres of the different Dominator stages (Saturday)
I go for the uptempo, but I would like to explore other subgenres of the hardcore scene. Recommendations would help aswell, thanks!

youtu.beNo way of buying or selling defqon tickets?
Is there no official way to buy defqon tickets? What a stupid decision, what if you can't go anymore? Or what if you where to late and have fomo like me? There must be lots of tickets that won't be used like this right? I can understand that they have sold more tickets this way, but the fans are suffering bc of this stupid idea.
I feel like Uptempo has changed significantly compared to just a year ago. I know genres evolving is perfectly normal, but this is the first time I’ve experienced a shift so drastic that I’m actually starting to dislike the genre. It could just be my personal taste changing, but I’m curious: has the scene undergone a massive transformation recently?
I’m primarily a Rawstyle fan, but I’ve always loved having Uptempo on the side. Lately, however, I feel like I’ve lost that "Uptempo spark." I was there when lekkerfaces became popular, and I actually enjoyed his sound at first. But now, it feels like the entire scene has been molded into a mixture of zaag bounce sound that just doesn't work for me anymore.
Of course, this is just my opinion. Given how popular Uptempo is at the moment, many people clearly consider this a "golden era." Every (sub)genre evolves and fans come and go, which is fine as long as people are enjoying the music.
I was just wondering: has anyone else experienced this lately? Did you hit a wall with the current direction of the scene?
