Car loan troubles
First time buying a new car and I’m in the process of getting a personal loan from the bank (a major bank) to help purchase a brand new car. I’ve been talking back and forth with the bank and dealership, and I feel so confused.
The bank is stating the car has to be registered to drawdown on the loan ( the loan has been approved ) but the dealership cant register the car until I’ve paid for it. It’s been back and forth for a couple of days and today the banker rang the dealership and it’s still at a stand still. As the dealership is firm on not registering a brand new car and the bank is set on it having to be registered for me to get the drawn down.
Can anyone help me understand this?! Another person I’ve told agrees with the dealership, so I just don’t understand what’s going on! I’ve rang the bank hotline to ask about it but they couldn’t give me a straight answer and would have to talk to the banker I’ve been going through to “investigate”
I have other means to purchase the car but just so confusing
