content review burnout

I feel like i’m burning myself out and i haven’t even been studying for 2 weeks yet. I’ve been studying for 10+ hours a day and it’s really tiring me out.
Everyday i do:
- 1 JW CARS passage
- 2 kaplan chapters + watch the corresponding yusuf hasan vids
- kaplan chapter questions
- anki of the topics i studied the day before

I feel like getting through 1 chapter takes me at least 3-4 hours and even then I feel like i’m not truly grasping 100% of the topics. And if i study less than that, i feel like i actually don’t know anything.

Any suggestions or advice?? I really don’t wanna burn myself out considering my exam is august 21st and I’ll be studying for another 2.5 months.

Hi! My exam is scheduled for August 21st, and I start my studying tomorrow, but honestly, I'm freaking out about a bunch of things:

  1. I got the Kaplan books, which I'm gonna use for my main source of content review, but is it also worth it to get a prep course as well? (thinking either UW or BP).

  2. Also, I feel like the Kaplan books are so overwhelming. Is there any other resources that will give me a proper breakdown of the higher yield topics so I don't waste time on the "unimportant" stuff?

  3. As of right now, I'm planning to do 4-5 weeks of content review (2 chapters a day + JW CARS + P/S terms), followed by a month of UW and FLs, and then finally a month of AAMC FLs. Is this a good schedule to follow?

Please give me any thoughts/guidance. I'm spiralling, and I feel like I'm all over the place with everything!

Hey guys!

I’m planning on getting a prep course while I study for the MCAT throughout the summer to make everything less overwhelming! Any thoughts on the following prep courses? I’ve heard good things about each of them but still unsure on which one to go with!

- 30daymcat

- prep101

- blueprint

- kalpan

- princeton review

Please let me know your thoughts!
