Help with plan

I’m going to Thailand for two weeks in November. I’m staying in Chiang Mai and have booked hotels for the beginning and the end of my stay. I wanted to take two small trips to other towns within three hours and stay overnight. I’m worried I will get bored for two weeks in Chang Mai . I would need to take a train or some type of public transportation or a higher driver. I want to stay in town that’s walkable with things to do. I’m solo female and don’t want to be alone on a mountain or anything. I was considering lampang ? I also considered staying at an elephant sanctuary overnight, but it seems most people recommend a half day.
Any suggestions on overnight trips from Chiang Mai?

This could be you

You’re single, you’re doing great , but this could be you….
I was at target today in the dressing room, and there was a woman to the right of me , trying on clothes. Her husband was sitting outside the dressing room. He kept barking orders, like he wanted to see what she had on… said she didn’t know how to dress….
That could be you!

Anyone else have any couple issues small or big you’ve witnessed and had the same thoughts we can laugh about ?

Jared Freid the comic does instagram stories just like this and they always make me laugh and feel better about singlehood.
