Any suggestions for a 5-6 day road trip from Trivandrum other than the usual suspects?

Other than the commoners like Kodai, ooty, munnar, rameshwaram anything less crowded and serene.
Open to temple trails(except Tanjore, been there many times), mountains, deserts whatever !

Any place where we get Banglore style masala chaat in Trivandrum?

I am talking about the chaats in Banglore that has no 'Dahi'(curd) and instead has a masala base with onions and puri. Any place in trivandrum that serves the same?

Chala Market's old buildings are a charm!!!

All shot in and around Chala Kambolam on my old and trusty Canon 7d Mk2 with a 18-140mm lens. Haven't editted any of the images and all of them were shot on an overcast day. Absolutely beautiful and simple buildings that have seen the city slowly grow.

Kerala society and the trivialization of genital mutilation!

Watching the movie Vaazha 2, the "Sunnath" scenes stuck out like a sore thumb. Although I often come across various reels documenting the flamboyant Sunnath Kalyanams happening these days, it never struck me how the whole practice is messed up. Vaazha 2 acts as an easy trigger because the victim is an almost adult, who is subjected to mutilation against his absolute wishes, the scenes really made me think about how small kids who have absolutely no idea about body autonomy or their rights are succumbed to this barbarian practice without their permission.

NB: Can anyone explain why this post could have been removed from the Kerala sub.
