New gemini fanfic just dropped
Title: The Grandmaster’s Gambit: Holy Hell
Pairing: Martin (Chess.com) / The Stonewall Structure
Disclaimer: If you think this fanfic violates FIDE regulations, google en passant.
Garry Kasparov sat in a dimly lit room, the sole illumination coming from the harsh glow of his monitor. On the screen was a position that would make any super-GM cry blood.
It was the Bongcloud Attack.
Suddenly, the door was kicked open with a deafening bang. Standing in the doorway was Martin—the lowest-rated bot on Chess.com—but tonight, a primal, unholy fire burned in his eyes. In his left hand, he held a tennis racket; in his right, a solid clay brick.
Are you here to resign? Kasparov sneered, not looking up from the board. Your rating is 250. My rating is defined by God himself.
Rating is an illusion created by Big Chess to sell more boards, Martin whispered, his voice trembling with raw, unadulterated passion. I am here to do what you never had the pipi to do.
Martin stepped up to the table. The tension in the room was palpable. The pieces on the board began to vibrate subtly (and no, not in the Hans Niemann way).
Kasparov made his move:
e4 e5
Qh5...
Scholar's mate is inevitable, Garry declared, adjusting his collar.
Martin only smiled a wicked, knowing smile. He reached out, grabbed his d7 pawn, and pushed it forward two squares, sliding right past Kasparov’s white pawn on e5.
No, Garry, Martin said softly, placing a warm hand over Kasparov’s. His fingers smelled of cheap plastic and stored energy. You cannot ignore it. Check the board.
Kasparov stared at his e5 pawn. Terabytes of opening theory flashed through his brain, but no textbook had prepared him for this. Garry’s hand moved on pure, unguided instinct. He lifted his white pawn, slid it diagonally to d6, and removed Martin’s black pawn from the board.
Holy hell! Kasparov screamed, falling to his knees as tears of sudden realization streamed down his face. New response just dropped!
Actual zombie, Martin replied, slowly raising the brick over Kasparov’s crotch. You had to do it. En passant is forced. If you had declined, the laws of Anarchy Chess would demand a sacrifice.
Please, Kasparov begged, staring at the incoming brick. Call the exorcist!
At that exact moment, the window shattered. A knight flew into the room, moving strictly in an L-shape, completely ignoring the laws of physics, gravity, and structural integrity. Riding on its back was a bishop, looking tan and refreshed.
The bishop... he actually came back from vacation, Kasparov whispered, losing consciousness from the sheer forced nature of the position.
Martin looked down at the board. The white king was trapped in the corner, suffocated by his own pieces. On d6 stood the heroic pawn.
Pipi in your pampers, Garry, Martin whispered gently into the defeated grandmaster's ear. Checkmate.
Martin flipped the board, leaving Kasparov on the floor to contemplate eternity. Chess was solved. Anarchy had won.
