STUDIES & ACADEMICS –
Admission Cutoffs ( Reference Trends)
CSE & Allied Specializations
- Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and related allied branches typically close within:
- ~30,000 (OC – highly competitive range)
- Up to ~50,000 – 60,000 for allied CSE-related specializations
These branches remain in high demand, and closing ranks may shift tighter in more competitive admission cycles.
ECE & EEE Branches
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
Typical closing range:
- Up to ~70,000 rank (maximum observed range in recent trends)
These branches maintain moderate-to-high demand with relatively stable cutoff patterns.
Civil Engineering & Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering (CIV)
- Mechanical Engineering (MEC)
Typical closing range:
- Up to ~90,000 rank
These branches generally have higher intake capacity, leading to broader cutoff ranges compared to core CSE-related streams.
Important note:
- Cutoffs vary every year based on demand and seat availability
- For example, a previous year cutoff around 36,000 may reduce to ~30,000 in a more competitive year
- Students are advised to wait for official round-wise cutoff trends before making assumptions about admission chances
- you can visit this website to know more about previous year cutoffs: https://eamcet-website.vercel.app/college-details.html?code=ACEG
Faculty & Teaching Environment
- Most faculty members are approachable and supportive
- Faculty generally follow a structured curriculum and institutional guidelines
- Students who aim for advanced knowledge or industry-level expertise are expected to take additional self-learning initiatives beyond classroom teaching
- There are many labs, but you need to bring your laptops if ur cse or allied because most of the computers won't work or are too outdated, even the software for ex: we are trained in Ubuntu or Dev C when the actual coding in companies takes place in VS Code, and most of the professors are very unfamiliar with VS Code)
In summary: academic support exists, but independent effort is important for higher-level skill development.
Student Clubs & Activities
- The college currently has several student clubs
- However, most clubs are not highly active and have low participation visibility
- Many students report limited awareness or engagement with these clubs
Students interested in extracurricular growth may need to initiate or seek external opportunities.
Placement Overview
- The overall placement scenario is considered average to above average (I cannot disclose the exact stats bc i think the college will take this post down ), 46 LPA was last year's highest package.
- Students are encouraged to seek opportunities beyond campus placements for better outcomes actively
Placement Training & Support
Despite mixed placement outcomes, structured support is provided:
- Strong emphasis on placement assistance from early years
- Weekly aptitude and reasoning training sessions are conducted starting from first year
- These sessions aim to build foundational skills for recruitment processes
GATE & Higher Studies Preparation
- GATE coaching is provided free of cost through the college
- Formal preparation typically begins from 3rd year
- Special focus is given to non-CSE branches for competitive exams like GATE
This supports students aiming for higher studies or government/PSU opportunities.
EXTRA POINTS
- No official dress code, wear whatever you want, just keep it decent (no heavily ripped/inappropriate outfits)
- Cafeteria has an informal boys/girls side vibe even without walls, but it’s not officially enforced
- Garden is fully open, mixed groups can sit anywhere, though there’s still some social stigma and the guards side eye you if you start looking a bit too close
- Security is always on patrol, and the campus is strictly zero ragging
- Management quota is around ₹5–8 lakhs (varies by branch)
