So, for context, I'm in a friend group of 4, we're all guys, and there is this girl in our class that is VERY clear she likes both me and one of my friends (D), like, she PUBLICALLY writes our names in hearts and shows it to not only us but the entire class, she also glazes everything we do either we did it together or apart, the thing is, D doesn't wanna get into relationships, so he kindly rejected her attempts to rizz him, and she was okay with that and started giving her full attention to me, and I started falling for her a bit too, and we had a great thing going on, she even told her own friend group that she liked me and one of the people there snitched that to me, which made me confident I was gonna date her, and all my friends were rooting for me and helping me out

But there is one thing I haven't told you. Remember how I stated at the start that we're a group of 4? well, outside of me and D, she never took a liking to the other two, like, she made that VERY clear, she wasn't rude at the point to bother them when they were on their own, but if they tried to talk to her or shoot glances while I was talking to her, she'd tell them to fuck off, one of them (M) was more hated since he'd shoot more glances while I was talking to her, so the other one (B) started ironically shipping M with her, and one of HER friends got in on the joke, which started as a funny way to ragebait them since it was very clear they didn't like eachother a bit

And then we had the summer vacation, in which we mostly didn't talk, but when we came back to class, the jokes were getting a bit out of control, and EVERYONE in the class was ironically or unironically shipping them, like, M couldn't say anything to the class that they would lead that back as evidence he was dating her like those "end update confirmed" videos, and then she started saying to him that he did like her, she said that just to tease him more, and like, I know that it's a joke, and I trust my bro and know he'd never do that to me ever since he knows I like her, but that girl is truly all over the place, she has dated multiple guys and she is not even 18 yet she is 17, my teacher once snitched on the fact the last person she had dated turned out to be a criminal, I'm afraid I lost my only chance to get with anyone

The good news is, the jokes have mostly stopped, since we've had our quarterly exams the class had to lock in and they mostly forgot about the jokes, and today she gave me more attention and talked to me more, so... good ending?
