turkey sticker visa refused-indian passport

I got rejected for a Turkey tourist visa and I'm trying to understand what I could have done differently. And when i should consider applying again.

I'm an Indian student with no personal income, just got graduated so thought i'll do a solo trip. so my dad was sponsoring my entire trip. I submitted his bank statements, sponsorship letter, financial documents flight itinerary, hotel booking, travel insurance, and all the documents required.

Since I don't have much money in my own bank account, could that have been the main reason? Or are student applications with parent sponsorship generally viewed as weak?

I'd really appreciate any advice on what I could improve if I decide to reapply. Thanks!

people who lift weights - does it affect results?

I know you're not supposed to lift for a few weeks and I'll obviously follow my surgeon's instructions. I'm asking about after that.

Has anyone gone back to lifting heavy and had any issues months or years later? Like did it affect your results at all or was everything completely fine? Did your nose swell after lifting too heavy?

I keep seeing people say "don't lift for X weeks" but not much about what happens once you're back to normal.

need help choosing between two doctors

Hii all, trying to decide between

Dr. Kadri Ila and

Dr. Emrah Celik- clinic hub in Istanbul for rhinoplasty.

My goals:

  • Correct a deviated septum
  • Remove dorsal hump
  • Refine bulbous tip (smaller, more defined)
  • Thin, clean bridge , not wide/rectangular
  • Minimal tip rotation , natural, not upturned
  • Overall natural, not overdone

Has anyone had either of these surgeons or knows their work well? Would love help deciding based on these specific goals. 🙏

Help choosing the right doctor!

I'm trying to choose between a few rhinoplasty surgeons and I'm getting overwhelmed because all of their table pics look good.

For those who have already had rhinoplasty (especially for a crooked/deviated nose), what specific things should I be looking at when comparing surgeons?

Apart from obvious things like cast off photos vs long term results, what are the details that separate an average surgeon from a great one?

For example, should I be paying attention to:

  • Front view more than profile?
  • Crooked/deviated nose corrections specifically?
  • 1+ year results vs cast-off/day-7 results?
  • Tip shape and support?
  • Alar/nostril symmetry?
  • Columella show?
  • Whether all noses start looking the same?
  • Breathing outcomes?
  • How well they handle thick skin?
  • Open vs closed approach?
  • Revision rate?

Would love to hear what ultimately helped you choose your surgeon and what you'd do differently if you had to choose again.

Surgery in Turkey question!!

Looking for ENT surgeon in Istanbul with results similar to Dr Niyazi Altintoprak style — natural, thin bridge, defined tip. Budget €4,500-5,000 surgery only. Any recommendations? (Primary rhino with deviated septum)

I am looking for a more of natural change, something that suits my face but not a barbie nose as i feel it will be too much of a bigger change. Definitely a thinner nose with a refined tip and correction of the deviated septum.

If anyone has any recommendations that would be helpful ! Thanks!

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A SEVERE CASE OF DEVIATION PLEASEEEE

HI! I've been researching rhinoplasty in Turkey for a while and could really use some help narrowing down my surgeon.

My case is more complex than standard rhinoplasty:

  • Major deviated septum (present since birth, visible externally)
  • Dorsal hump (visible from profile)
  • Bulbous tip with medium thickness skin
  • Breathing issues
  • Surgeons suggested I may need rib cartilage grafting due to the nature of the deviation

I've had several video consultations already and most surgeons have acknowledged the complexity. I'm specifically looking for an ENT specialist who has genuine experience with reconstruction and severe deviation cases

Budget: €3000-5,500 surgery and accom included. (flights separate)

Has anyone had a similar complex case done in Istanbul? Who did you go with and how was your experience? Would really appreciate anyone with a similar experience.

Thanks in advance!
