Gold Bracelet Purchase Issue (not as described 14k).

I purchased a 14 kt vintage bracelet from an Etsy seller April of last year. When I received it, there was a repair done to the jump ring that wasn't disclosed. The seller and I went back and forth as I was asking for them to pay for the repair/replacement of the jump ring and she requested to have me just return it. I decided against it and just kept it even though I wasn't super satisfied with that answer as it was a unique piece. I set it aside in my jewelry box and hadn't even worn it.

Anyhow, fast forward to about a week ago when I took it in to get the clasp repaired and some sharp edges shaved down as they could catch on clothes/scratch things. I just picked it up and they returned the jump ring to me as it was 14K filled (and they marked it as such). The cost was higher for the repair due to needing to replace the (non 14k ring).

I emailed Etsy and the seller regarding this - but I know it's outside their policy. I would hope the seller would make it right and pay for the replacement jump ring as the bracelet was described as solid 14k and clearly wasn't. I'm happy to pay for the labor as I knew I'd need to get it repaired from our previous conversations where they weren't willing to do that.

Is there any recourse for this a year after the fact? They had all 5 star reviews, so I wasn't thinking that I needed to get the bracelet tested and just believed the seller.
