It's about Kit and Gobbles. And maybe a surprise cameo from someone else at the end! (I don't wanna ruin the surprise.)
Imagine you come across a show that you love. You love it because it's unique in a good way, and there really isn't much like it. HOWEVER, something happens, and you don't think you should watch it anymore. But, you don't know how to move on. You think you should look for something different. But there was nothing like that show. It was unique, and combined pretty much everything that you like. You want to take a break, but..you're having trouble.
I would love to see a Kurzgestagt video about this. I want the video to go over
I've been using message blocks and TTS for dialogue in my projects. I use message blocks so that one character waits until the other is done to talking to talk. But for some reason there's some delays. There are moments where the characters just stop talking. How do I fix that?
Is it because of their "We WILL Fix Climate Change!" video? I've heard that they lied in that video. People say it's propaganda for people like Bill Gates. They also say it has lies in it.
But honestly, I think some people take climate change really poorly. Everyone is taking about how it's hopeless and we're cooked. I agree with what Kurzgesagt said when they say hopelessness only makes problems worse. We can still stop climate change. They also say that the situation is serious, but not hopeless. More people need to hear that. I think it's so funny how people say Kurzgesagt videos are depressing, and then when they make something positive and uplifting. People hate it. Like what do y'all even want from them at this point?
More about the Bill Gates thing. I know Kurzgesagt believes in progress and space travel. Which is something that I do too! But people associate this with greedy, selfish billionaires. Is the problem that they care too much about this and not enough about helping people in poverty and environmental issues? I can understand that with billionaires. But it's OBVIOUS that Kurzgesagt cares about helping people in need and stopping environmental issues. Sometimes I feel like some of you people just don't like progress in general.
And I agree that billionaires can be greedy. I also believe this.
No one should be so poor that they can't afford basic necessities
No one should be so rich that they others suffer as a result.
I completely understand dunking on Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. But people like Bill Gates and Mr. Beast are also philanthropists who help people. I'm not saying everything they do is right or they're perfect or you need to like them. But at least give credit where credit is due.
One thing I always liked about Kurzgesagt is that they try to avoid political bias. But based on what people say, I don't know if I can fully trust them. Kurzgesagt is my favourite science YouTube channel. I want to be able to trust them. I remember back in mid to late 2025. I found comfort in their unbiased videos. It was relieving to have this in a time where binary thinking runs rampant. But now I don't even know if I can trust them.
