So did you guys not like this version of Mallepoola Pallaki? I felt this a polished version of the original, and I didn't hear the original before hearing that they are remixing this song.
I loved the song especially the trumphet(?-idk what's that instrument- i am assuming it's a trumphet) used in the song, I loved it when i heard it in the last shots of the trailer.
But my frnds who loved the original didn't like this version, i want to know your views on this song too whether you guys liked it or not, and if not then why?
to start off, let me say that I liked Sarileru Neekevaru but something which everyone may agree is how anil directed the army action sequence in the 1st half, and recently some army officer was saying that he was laughing in the theatre when he saw the movie.
Now again Anil touching the army subject is now giving me doubts. But yea except that action sequence, they showed the Army in some great light, like when Bob stood out of Vijayshanti's home guarding them in the night time, and also the dialogues toward the end of the cinema of how great Army is, whether the time when Vijayshanthi kind of feels that her 2nd son too has passed away or when Bob tells how great Army is to Prakash Raj on the train track, these sequences gave me bigggg goosebumps and they will always come to me whenever I see these scenes.
As long as he doesn't give such cringe action sequences to Indian Army I will be happy. And also hostage negotiator- that line was what brought that trauma to me, hopefully they shoot a better sequence this time
Went FDFS with only one fear in mind, that this shd not turn into another serial (referring to the serial which released 3 years ago for Sankranthi) literally this was turning to be one after seeing the teasers and trailers. I hated seeing that grand houses and the rich everything only because of that movie. And tbh some sequences were turning out to be like that too, but the best thing is they didn't drag it much, they only kept it short and limited.
That was the only negative in this fun-filled ride. I kept thinking about the things which Venky Atluri said in his interviews or his speeches. And he fullfiled his promise in whatever he said. He said that in whatever duration of this movie u will be smiling/laughing throughout the movie and be emotional only for 20-30 mins. And he told too that he wud ensure that the audience don't get the feeling of taboo of an older man dating a young woman, and he was right abt that too. There was no moment which anyone wud feel awkward.
Mamitha Baiju is the sole of this movie I enjoyed the movie a lot only because of her. Her character was just tooooo good. Maybe just like how Hasini from Bommarilu became an iconic character in the 2010s, I am sure her character too will be an iconic one in this age. I am sure that the Telugu Audience will love this movie, but I am not sure how the Tamil audience will receive it, I am sure they will also enjoy it, but will they make it a hit?? I doubt that after seeing their response to 24 itself, but let's see. I want this to be a bigger blockbuster than Karuppu honestly as then maybe we can see more family-friendly movies while action is given a break for sometime. I am not saying to totally stop it, but I want more family-friendly movies.

Idhi enduko Varisu vibes istundi, okay def not like serial vibes but same result istundi emo anipistundi. Varisu kooda came at a time when everyone were tired of violence and rakhtapaatam and when everyone wanted a family drama, and had all these elements, which VS too seems to have. Ippati varuku not one content from this movie has striked any chord with me yet.
Kaani enduko I have some belief in Venky Atluri, aayana kosame I will mostly go FDFS. Kaani same situation with Varisu too, the director's prev film was a very big hit which even got National Awards.

Dubbing is not bad imo and given that the actors dubbed for their own roles is too good.

Horror was peak in this! Loved it soooo much. I am a huuuuge fan of Horror, and was looking for a very good Horror movie for a long time. I didn't like Conjuring 4, and Obsession too was good, but I wanted some more scare jumps, and that's what this movie gave me.
Though the narration was slow, it kept me engaged with screenplay like QT's movies, with each character's POVs, which was just too beautiful to see as a cinephile. And the jumpscares, I just loved that they kept it at regular intervals. Proper Horror experience that too in the midnight, was just tooo good for a Horror lover like me. I wud have loved seeing it in a theatre, tho
Yesterday I posted my opinion on BND immediately after seeing it, what I felt after seeing the movie, I basically said I was disappointed as I was expecting a lot of action after seeing the trailers, but it went to the emotional side. But surprisingly I have new thoughts today after speaking to a lot of my friends who saw the movie.
So, if u ask me what is my fav spider-man movie of all time I might say Spider-man 2 or TASM 2. Spider-man 2 coz that is my first english movie and superhero movie everything, and I deeply love that movie because the way it went to the emotional side of Peter Parker, and that's the base of any human, and even a superhero as he is finally a human being too right...
And that is what exactly they tried doing in this movie too. The reason I was hyped for this movie was also because Peter Parker was so sad and lonely, and I was expecting a movie which will balance showing both the emotional side and have really great action sequences as they showed really great montages in the movie, which wud be really great action , but in the movie too they were montages only 😢 and that was the biggest disappointment I had.
I was really hyped up that they were going to do really crazy action blocks coz they were shooting in real with practical effects and not in green screens. Salute to the director on this decision. I was screaming throughout those action scenes coz they were sooo eye-pleasing. I wanted more of them, and the problem is they revealed most of the action stuff in the trailers itself, so whatever new action was there, is very limited, this is what disappointed me.
But keeping all this aside, when Peter sees MJ kissing another guy, and the way he swings with frustration in NY, that just reminded me of Tobey Maguire swinging in Spider-man 2, and that was enough for me to say I loved the movie. Also another scene when MJ falls from height, and Peter catches her the same way Andrew lost his Gwen, that was just crazyyy. These 2 scenes were enough for me. And obv the handshake with Ned, and he immediately remembers Peter, that was just magical! Damnn writing all this now, has made me realise that I did love the movie.
So I might get a off-campus internship in the 8th sem for 6 months, so shd I quit the placements when I do that? Is there any rule like that?
