What features are actually worth having in an invoice app?
Hey everyone,
I’m an indie iOS developer, and over the last few months I’ve been building an invoice app.
Instead of trying to compete with apps that have hundreds of features, I wanted to make something that’s simple, fast, and focused on what people actually use every day.
Right now it includes:
Creating professional invoices
Saving clients so you don’t have to enter their details every time
PDF export
Marking invoices as paid or unpaid
Basic analytics
Invoice templates
The next ideas I have are payment reminders and optional iCloud sync so users never lose their data.
For those of you who send invoices regularly, what features do you actually wish your invoice app had?
I’m intentionally trying to avoid feature bloat. I’d rather keep the app simple and only add features that genuinely save time or solve real problems.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
