Can I make this notification disappear without fixing the door?

2012 Touring

The driver side power sliding door does not work, and my mechanic has advised me that it will be $1800 to fix it. So we’re just using it in manual mode for a while. That’s fine. But I’d like it to not display this message; any idea how to get that to not show up every time we start the van?

What PSI for 40mm gravel tires on pavement?

I sold my road bike a few years ago and have since been commuting occasionally on my gravel bike.

Just curious: for those of you riding gravel bike as your main bike, what psi do you set your tires at if you know you’ll be on pavement the whole ride?

▲ 1 r/pools

I have an 18’ diameter above ground pool, 4.5’ deep. Im getting ready to open for the season. Part of the winter cover is held up by a pillow, but part of it is covered in so much water I think it’s resting on the bottom of the pool.

I’m not sure how to get the cover off without dumping all the debris that is currently on top of the cover into the pool. Here’s what I’m thinking, tell me if this is crazy or not…

  1. remove as much debris as possible with a skimmer net and my handheld vacuum.

This is the part I’m not sure about if it’s a dumb idea or not:

  1. set a submersible pump on top of the cover, and use a hose to pump most ofthe water from on top of the cover to under the cover through the skimmer opening. I’ll set it at a depth that won’t suck up debris from the bottom of the cover.

Theory is if I remove most of the water this way I can then remove the cover much more easily & not dump remaining debris.

Thoughts?

My gen 1 RL will soon need new tires. I’m looking for all season tire recommendations that are:

  1. quiet

  2. good wet traction

Do not need great off road performance- my driving is 99% on road or gravel

What are you all running? Thanks!
