I have a 2022 CFMOTO Zforce 800 EX that i had at a dealership to trade in on a bike yesterday, the service department looked it over and came back and told me that the CVT is bad and needs replaced and it would be a $3,000usd replacement.

The machine jerks under very light acceleration but if you drive it like you normally would a sport SxS, it runs perfectly fine. Which is how it has been since the day i bought it

The machine is 4 years old with 450 miles on it, i find it very hard to believe the CVT is bad as it has never been mud bogged or hammered on. It was trail ridden once and has been a yard machine its entire life.

Can anyone help me clear this up?
