Electric tingling in hands and arms after botec1 and continuing even after 2 hours

Hello, i have been meditating for roughly 4 months. I have felt energy moving during Joe Dispenza’s meditation. I have been mixng JD meditations and traditional meditation by focusing on breathing or Om..

However, today almost at the end of Botec1 meditation while I was focusing on 8th Chakra (above the head) , I instantly felt electric energy in my both hands. It was very weird like It wanted me to move my hands. It was extremely vibrating and electric for about 2-4 minutes. I has been about 2 hours and I still have tingling feeling in my hands up to the middle of my arms but more in my arms. My palms and weists were really hot i can describe as buzzing and warm feeling. Has anyone experienced this?

I would really appreciate to know if you have felt something like this.

Thank you in advance.

You are the change that you are looking outside

I felt called to share this, especially as someone who is very new to this journey.

Two months ago, meditation wasn’t even part of my life—I never imagined it would be. But somehow, through a simple push from my dad, I gave it a try… and something shifted. Not dramatically at first, but enough to keep me coming back.

I’ve been practicing Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work, and what I’m beginning to understand is that this journey isn’t really about techniques or chasing experiences—it’s about becoming.

There were moments where I expected something big to happen, something external or obvious. But slowly, I’m realising that the real change is much more subtle. It’s in the awareness, the presence, and the willingness to show up—especially on the days when nothing seems to happen.

What’s becoming clear to me is that the work is not outside of us. The meditations, the teachings—they are just pathways. We are the ones walking them. We are the ones creating the change, moment by moment.

And maybe that’s the biggest shift for me so far: moving from expectation to trust. Trusting the process. Trusting that something is happening, even when I can’t see or explain it yet.

I also want to acknowledge this community. There’s something powerful about a group of people, most of whom have never met, still choosing to support and uplift each other. There’s a shared intention here—to grow, to understand, to evolve—and you can feel that.

So if you’re new like me, or even if you’ve been on this path longer, I just want to say: keep going. There’s something here worth discovering. ❤️

Please help

Hello, I have been meditating for about two months now. Around two weeks ago, I was practicing the BOTEC series, and during that time I experienced strong sensations in my energy centres. In particular, my third eye area felt as though it was being pulled from both sides quite forcefully, to the point of discomfort.

My intention has never been to awaken Kundalini, as I don’t feel I have enough knowledge or guidance, and I am concerned about the possibility of a negative psychological experience such as psychosis.

I do have a few questions:

  1. How long is someone considered a beginner in meditation?
  2. How can I know if I am ready for something like Kundalini awakening?
  3. Because I felt concerned about these experiences, I switched to a gentler practice (BTHOBY) and have been doing that for the past two weeks. About a week ago, I also tried unguided meditation without music.

However, now whenever I sit to meditate or even close my eyes, within a few minutes I feel pressure and stretching in my third eye area. It seems to happen regardless of the type of meditation I do, and I also notice energy moving in my body.

I genuinely enjoy meditation and want to continue, but I don’t have much experience with these kinds of sensations, and I don’t have anyone I can ask for guidance.

I haven't felt much difference in me but I love how I feel during meditation and how relax I feel. I haven't felt like this in years.

I would really appreciate any advice or direction on how to proceed safely, as I want to continue meditating without unintentionally triggering something I am not prepared for.

Thank you for your time and support.

BOTEC 3 experiences

HEllo, I’ve been meditating regularly for the past 4–6 weeks, mainly using Joe Dispenza’s meditations. Recently, I’ve been focusing on the BOTEC series. I enjoyed BOTEC 1, but I didn’t fully understand BOTEC 2, especially the symbols.

Today, I tried BOTEC 3 and had a very intense and unusual experience.

As soon as I sat down and closed my eyes—within about 10 seconds—I felt a very bright light, like a light bulb, on the top-left side of my head. It startled me, and I opened my eyes. I continued, but when I focused on the first chakra, I immediately saw a bright red light along with strong tingling and a burning sensation. This continued into the second chakra, and I could clearly feel tingling along my spine.

I became quite scared but continued the meditation more cautiously, without going too deep. My intention is not to awaken Kundalini—I simply want to enjoy the calming and positive effects of meditation.

When I reached the throat chakra, everything suddenly went dark blue, like being in a night sky with stars. This lasted about 10 seconds. There were no emotions—just a sense of emptiness or stillness.

At the sixth chakra (third eye), I started coughing continuously. I also felt intense twitching and pulling sensations in that area, almost as if something was trying to push through. There was also very bright white light throughout this part of the meditation.

I eventually stopped before completing the full session because I felt overwhelmed and scared.

Usually, after meditation, I feel happy and grateful. But this time, I felt emotionally numb—no positive or negative emotions, just a kind of blunt, empty feeling. Even now, about two hours later, I still feel tingling in my third eye, throat, and base of the spine.

This experience has left me confused and concerned.

My questions are:

Is this meditation trying to awaken Kundalini?

I’ve read that Kundalini awakening can be dangerous and may cause psychological issues—should I be worried?

Should I continue with these meditations?

Is it dangerous to experience sensations in the third eye or “eye chakra”?

I would really appreciate guidance or shared experiences from others who have gone through something similar.

Thank you
