Monkey's Paw: Your favorite obscure hero got a Magic card.
I want to talk about Deathlok because MTG does him dirty. Of course it was inevitable that some named character would get "downshifted" to nameless non-legendaries.
But what sucks here is Deathlok is mischaracterized. He isn't really a "zombie," he is a human cyborg: a computer engineer who was tricked into writing the technology his suit is running on. And a father -- who tragically can't reconnect with his son after his transformation.
What are your thoughts of the size and scale of Universes Beyond and how that will work out for obscure characters that will be forced into "draft chaff" roles?
