Advice/corrections appreciated

Trying to gain weight | female

1.5 years ago I changed my diet to gain weight. Started at 108 lb, 5'5". For breakfast coffee (whole milk, honey, salt, coconut oil, collagen), two eggs on two pieces of toast covered in either butter, ricotta cheese or whole milk skyr, recently been having black bean and garbanzo bean smoothies with whole milk, banana, honey, peanut butter and whatever else I'm feeling. I struggle with lunch but when I eat it is usually tuna sandwich or something similar. Dinner I make a ton of stews like oxtail stew, Hungarian goulash, curries, or some nights ground beef with potatoes, chicken (literally everything, I love food and eat large servings) and always pair it with a grain/or bread and carrot salad everyday. Recently added ice cream most nights too.

With all of this I gained 8lb since I started and haven't budged from that weight since I reached it 8-9 months ago. My job is pretty physical lifting many 40-50lb boxes and sifting through heavy inventory and I don't workout outside of my job (this could help with my muscle mass I assume...may be what I'm missing?).

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tips for speaking faster

What’re your tips for speaking faster in your target language while remaining accurate? I catch myself making many grammatical errors when trying to speak quicker and I can’t tell if it’s hurting me in the long run and I really just need to slow down or it’s actually beneficial because it’s at least training faster recall.

I have teachers that make us read articles and tell us to read quickly even if we don’t understand everything. Is the focus on speed, despite the errors, the best method?

Cramming for an exam in one week -- what are your best methods?

Hello everybody, I have a final exam this weekend for Arabic language focusing on reading, writing, speaking and listening. We have around 200 words and phrases from our book to study including verbs, nouns (singular and plural), and general phrases and expressions.

Anyone have any advice to make the most of this final week of studying? Any methods that you've tried that strengthened your vocabulary recall?

Currently I am listening to podcasts on my 30 min commute to work (1hr a day) to strengthen my listening skills and writing about various topics each day in my journal hoping the topics will come up in the oral exam.

Sharing any tips or methods you found helpful would be greatly appreciated.

DC Hit and Run -- Any updates?

Has there been any update on the hit and run that took place on April 18th in Foggy Bottom on 23rd street and L street NW? How could a driver get away so easily when the make and model of the vehicle has been identified and the accident done in broad daylight?
