I'm apartment hunting around LA and trying not to overlook anything important. I usually read reviews, drive through the neighborhood at different times and check Streetsmart while comparing places but I feel like there are always things you only find out after you've moved in. For people who've rented in LA for a while, what's one thing you always check before signing? Any red flags you wish someone had told you about sooner?
