Kobalt Edger Guiding Plate

Just bought a Kolbalt Edger today and immediately was confused by how to get the wheel to touch the ground. Countless searches found a few handful of people with this exact issue with no resolution. It makes me think some might’ve been assembled wrong. The guiding plate sits an inch below the wheel so scrapes the ground while the wheel hangs in the air. The depth adjustments do nothing as it’s a solid piece of metal and regardless what depth you set it to the plate is always an inch below the wheel as they’re all on the same piece of metal. It also can’t be adjusted as it’s welded closed. Has anyone experienced this and if so was there a solution?

Cpap Prescription Headache

Was diagnosed with sleep apnea six weeks ago. Would’ve assumed that after my last sleep study with the cpap the next step would be fairly painless but it’s been an ongoing struggle. Evidently the Sleep MD doesn’t do the prescriptions and sent to my PCP to do who seems to have never put in a cpap prescription before. I’ve been the mediator between the supplier and my pcp communicating what exactly is needed to get my machine and six weeks later, I’m still at ground zero. Contacted my ENT who referred me to the sleep study and told they don’t do these prescriptions. I’d need either a Sleep MD, Pulm, or my PCP. Two options already explored. Has anyone else had this much difficulty?
